I called to make an appt for my A Service maintenance and was given the amount it would cost. When I arrived for my appt, the service Dept was busy so I waited for awhile and then found someone to help me. T was given the amount it would cost. When I arrived for my appt, the service Dept was busy so I waited for awhile and then found someone to help me. The gentlemen that helped me quoted me $65.00 more then what I was told originally on the phone. When I explained that I was surprised he said it was because I had a newer vehicle, but then reduced it by $30.00. I Also told him that my passenger mirror cap was missing and wanted to get an estimate on the cost to replace it. When I returned to pick up my car, they told me it would be over $1600.00 to replace my mirror cap because the tabs that held the cap on were missing. $1600.00!! That is ridiculous! A young man brought my car around and when the gentlemen asked him to park it out front, he rolled his eyes and grabbed the keys and left again. When he returned he seemed irritated. I told him thank you and held out my hand for the keys. He ignored me and gave it to the gentlemen that was helping me and walked away. When I paid my service fee it was the original quote I was given to begin with. I’m not sure why there was such a discrepancy in price quoted, but was happy it was the original price. I understand these are stressful times but Mercedes customer service in the past has always been excellent. I am contacting my insurance company to get my mirror repaired. I don’t want anyone to get in trouble but this is not the Mercedes Benz that I know and appreciate. Thank you More

Took a while to diagnose, but finally settled upon my Trailer Recognition Module as the failed component. Was told to bring in the car, and the techs got slammed, so a fairly long wait to get it in.
