Out of State Purchase I purchased a 2016 Mercedes GL 550 From Astorg Auto on the 20th of July. I saw the car on Car Gurus with 20,200 miles but no pictures 12-JUL-20. I cal I purchased a 2016 Mercedes GL 550 From Astorg Auto on the 20th of July. I saw the car on Car Gurus with 20,200 miles but no pictures 12-JUL-20. I called and talked to Gerry "Mate" Flynn 13-JUL-20. I asked for some pictures and he sent them to me with in an hour. He followed up and reassured me that the car was in great shape. I told him I wanted it and that I could be there to pick it up the following Monday. No pressure with Financing, My place or his did not matter. No Demand for nonrefundable earnest money "Something I experienced with my last out of state purchase". Gerry and Astorg took me for my word which I found very pleasing. I flew into Charleston the day before and Gerry pick me up at the hotel and drove me to the dealership on Monday morning. The vehicle was absolutely spotless!!! Gerry showed great attention and concern for quality customer service! He was informative but not pushy for "addons, extended warrantees etc. which I appreciated. I signed all the paperwork there and was out the door and on the road back to Chicago in no time. I arrive in Chicago at 6:10 PM with plenty of daylight left to share the first glimpses of our new family care with the rest of the family. What a great experience! They only care about selling a car, then you mean nothing I bought a Mercedes off of Astorg and they seemed responsive during the buying process. The salesman delivered my car and promised to have a "Concier I bought a Mercedes off of Astorg and they seemed responsive during the buying process. The salesman delivered my car and promised to have a "Concierge" call me within 2 days to set up the Mercedes app on my phone and help me go through things. The salesman also promised to look into the GPS system since it didn't come with the navigation card to see if it was supposed to. I never heard back, so I called the dealership and no one would help me. I got transferred from service to sales to concierge, back to reception, etc. I have contacted them 9 times and left messages and voicemails with every person I can and they refuse to even return a call! I've never been treated so poorly in my life, and this is a MERCEDES BENZ DEALER!!!!! They do not deserve to be in business the way they treat customers! More
