We live in Williamsburg, VA and found a 2011 E63 AMG at Mercedes Benz of Huntsville on AutoTrader. 2 weeks ago I called the main number on a Thursday night after hours and Alicha Dial (F&I Manager Internet Mercedes Benz of Huntsville on AutoTrader. 2 weeks ago I called the main number on a Thursday night after hours and Alicha Dial (F&I Manager Internet) answered from her cell phone driving home after dealership hours. We discussed my interest in the white 2011 E63 AMG shown on thier showroom floor. Friday the next day, we agreed to a price on the AMG (placing a deposit on AMEX).With the great help of Alicha I submitted a credit application for financing thru Mercedes Credit which was immediatly approved with 800+ credit rating. Friday that same day Alicha and I discussed (long distance) the "features and benefits of extended warranties, prepaid maintenance, gap insurance, etc. The next day, Saturday Alicha and I had planned to compete the rest of the transaction details.By the way Alicha is very professional and knowledgable. BUT Saturday morning David Goodwin (Sales Consultant) from the Mercedes of Huntsville Team called my cell indicated Alicha was home with a severe virus. That day Saturday, Dave picked up the ball and we exchanged a dozen phone calls back and forth as to adding the aftermentioned warranties, prepaid maintenance, etc. to the transaction. All was agreed and paperwork completed by Dave (can't believe all the detail was executed in such time . I mentioned to Dave we planned to sell our Toyota Solora Convertible independent of the AMG purchase. I was on my way to CarMax that same Saturday afternoon to get a price. Dave took the intiative and asked about details of the Toyota (model, year, mileage, ZIN #, etc) he called me back and gave me a trade in price....but did ask me to call him after I recieved the appraisal from CarMax. Following the trip to CarMax that same Saturday afternoon, Dave and I talked and Mercedes of Huntville agreed to meet the CarMax appraisal (which I sent to Dave, but he did NOT ask me for the document). Late Saturday afternoon Dave facilitated the completion of all the "boilerplate" paper work. Here's best part of a BEST IN CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE STORY! After Dave got us prices to transport our car to Williamsburg, VA (~$1,000) he offered to drive to Williamsburg to deliver the car. Instead the next day, Sunday, on his own time, Dave drove 750 miles to Roanoke, VA (we drove only 200 miles) and we meet in Roanoke. He spend several hours with us giving AMG orientation (plus signing all the paperwork I couldn;t believe had been completed the afteroon before), we swiched cars and he drove back to Huntsville that same night arrving back home after midnight. In the meantime Dave has helped with many other questions, sent replacement tail light lens to Tysinger Mercedes in Hampton, VA. He has texted me, e-mailed me, phoned me,and has been an incredible customer advocate for Mercedes Benz of Huntsville. In fact the entire experience has been terrific where I will recommend to my friends and family (my son living in CA has a new C63 AMG and got me interested in owning an AMG...WOW! What a Machine!!) The experience with Mercedes Benz of Huntsville, Alicha and (of course) the Best Mercedes Sales Consultant and Customer Service advocate in North America, Dave Goodwin, had made my purchase and trade in experience extremely enjoyable. It's most certain, because of Dave (and Alicha) and the staff at MB of Huntsville more vehicles will be purchased (long distance) from Mercedes Benz of Huntsville,Alabama. More

This is our third Mercedes that we have purchased new since 1996. We have always worked with Randy and with Abe also for this new GLK purchase. He has the same sense of humor and political views that I have and this made the financing end fun. More
I HAD A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT THIS DEALERSHIP WHEN GOING TO LOOK FOR A NEW CAR. THE GENERAL MANAGER INTRODUCED ME TO MY SALESMAN WHO WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND NO PRESSURE. HE SHOWED MY WIFE AND I TH GOING TO LOOK FOR A NEW CAR. THE GENERAL MANAGER INTRODUCED ME TO MY SALESMAN WHO WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND NO PRESSURE. HE SHOWED MY WIFE AND I THEIR INVENTORY, TOOK US FOR A TEST DRIVE AND EXPLANINED ALL OF THE NEW OPTIONS AND HOW THEY WORKED. WE SAT DOWN AND ORDERED A CAR AND WENT OVER EACH OPTION TO ENSURE THAT IT WAS WHAT WE WANTED. AFTER ORDERING THE CAR I HAD TO CALL DAVID BACK TO ADD TWO OPTIONS FOR THE BUILD. NOW WE JUST GET IN THE BUILD LINE AND WAIT FOR OUR NEW M CLASS MERCEDES. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I ALREADY OWN A GL MERCEDES AND THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS EXCELLANT AND MY SERVICE ADVISOR, SCOTT WALLACE, HAS GIVEN US GREAT SERVICE AND KEEPS US AWARE OF EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED TO KNOW. So often when one goes to purchase a car, one is confronted with sales persons that leave a buyer feeling that they had "been sold" - it is not pleasant and one feels a bit taken advantage of. David Goodwin provided a seamless, honest, and straightforward transaction for us- my husband and I BOTH commented on what a unique experience it was to walk away feeling as though we had 1. gotten a great car 2. gotten a great deal, and 3. had a "clean" sales experience. Our thanks to David, and we hope he is as appreciated by his management as he is by us, his customers. More

Mercedes Benz of Huntsville sales personnel were very accomadating with my "Well how about that one over there" kind of browsing. They went out of their way in allowing me to test drive vehciles and put each one "through the paces" so to speak. Of course it is a Mercedes Benz so one truly does not have to work too hard in selling the darn thing...the brand speaks for itself. Still, I enjoy the feeling of pride they displayed and the feeling that they were also enjoying the fact that I was about to purchase a brand new Benz. More

I went in with the assumption that it would be like all the other times I have purchased and I love it! I absolutely love my car and how it drives. I went in with the assumption that it would be like all the other times I have purchased a vehicle and I was ready for the back and forth and leaving and coming back to deal some more. I could have never been more wrong. David Goodwin was and is our salesman. I actually made a new friend also! He made the experience very pleasant and fun. Everywhere I go I get so many compliments on my car! I couldn't have asked for a better salesman or a better dealership. Everyone has been wonderful and helpful! I am a customer for life! We went to the dealership in Huntsville looking for a white convertible and they had none. Our salesman David showed us several other cars and tried to persuade us to purchase another vehicle. We game him our information and what exactly we were looking for and the following week he had gotten what we wanted on a trade in. He contacted us , we came and looked at it on Saturday and purchased it. David did an extremely great job on explaining everything and getting the car serviced and detailed for us. It was a great experience and we will do business with Mercedes of Huntsville again. More
