AutoNation Mercedes on Copans Road is the worst Mercedes dealership I've ever had to deal with in my life. The service dept. is horrible, they've damaged my car while in for repairs, the AutoNation in Marga dealership I've ever had to deal with in my life. The service dept. is horrible, they've damaged my car while in for repairs, the AutoNation in Margate is horrible, they've damaged my car and it has taken them 8 months to finish my car that was a 3 thousand dollar insurance claim. From the G.M. Michael Lucia, to the service mgr. Todd Banks, to the paint and collision rep at the Copan's location Gus Germi, to Omar Heridia and the G.M. at the collision center Rene Estevez. Gus Germi is a liar, Michael Lucia is a piece of trash and his little manager robot Todd Banks are all crap.. They had more work to do to finish the claim from back in April, and they had no loaner so they told me to get the nicest vehicle from Enterprise rental and Mercedes would reimburse me. I kept the rental much less than the time they had my car, as I have others to drive and now they won't pay for the rental they authorized me to get. I am filing a complaint with the BBB, post a negative review where ever I can, and I now have a lawyer involved. I will not stop reaching out to higher up people that are qualified to make an adult decision. This company has horrible business morals and ethics and they lie! I've only begun my journey to discredit them as a reputable dealership as far as service and paint/collision. And I've already sent two buyers to a different Mercedes dealer and they made their purchase there. My words are loud and clear and respected in the performance/luxury car industry. I will cause them to lose 1000 fold the 1,200.00 +- dollars they owe me. Get ready AutoNation! Update. After filing a complaint with Corporate, Magically 773.73 was paid to Enterprise Rental, thus a credit back on my American Express. You still owe me 450.89. You can pay that amount to me or Enterprise so they can credit my American Express. Let's not forget the damage to my drivers side fender when you tried to deliver it as a completed job and I refused delivery and you guys took 5 more days to do so. I received no loaner or rental for those 5 days as well, and this was damage done while in your care and possession. Wake up and do what's right. Pay the 450.89. I will not disappear. Corporate has been called again. I'm waiting on your crappy dealership to do what's right. Let's also not forget Gus Germi and Todd Banks authorized the Enterprise rental. Moral and ethics are at stake here. And I'm here to show your potential customers how you screw existing customers that have spent thousands and thousands with you and used to trust you. More

I am very very upset with this company, with the customer service, services, everything! I left my car the day before yesterday, Monday, November 23rd, for maintenance service, which included oil change. I p service, services, everything! I picked up the car yesterday, Tuesday, November 24th and paid almost $ 600 for the service. Today I had go out to work, solve some problems and do grocery shopping. About 1 hour after I left my house, the car's dashboard showed that I needed to check the engine oil and a lot of smoke started to come out and get people's attention. I was very scared and stopped at the first gas station I saw. I called Bryan, called customer service and they took 2 hours to send a towning to help me. Also, I had myself to get a lift to leave me at home. Unbelievable!!! If you woud like to have problems, have a bad service, have a awful customer service, feel free to go there. More
The truth seems that we are not paying for the service ... DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS PLACE THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE IT THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU THE SERVICE YOU DESERVE ... They believe they are doing you a favor by receiving your car and giving you the service of delivering one while they repair yours. And it is not like that, or they compete or we go elsewhere. More
STAY AWAY from this dealership!!!! I cannot emphasize the lack of professionalism enough. I am appalled by the behavior of the salesman and leadership team. I purchased a certified pre owned 2019 A- the lack of professionalism enough. I am appalled by the behavior of the salesman and leadership team. I purchased a certified pre owned 2019 A-220 in Dec. 2019. This vehicle was advertised as having 193 miles on it, & being in mint condition. The vehicle actually had 2,900 miles on it, not 193 as advertised. I had a trade in vehicle which was quoted, via phone, as being worth close to $6k. Upon my arrival they stated that they could only offer $5k max and they were “doing me a favor.” I ultimately informed them that I was leaving, as I could purchase a brand new 2020 A-220 from a dealer in close proximity for the same price. After two hours they agreed to $6k, for my trade. After initiating paperwork I noticed paint chips missing in an area on the vehicle. I was assured that this is “nothing” and could easier be buffed out, free of charge. I had significant difficulty reaching the salesman, so eventually drove into the dealership to have the work performed. It looks absolutely terrible! It was not buffed but appears they just painted it. It indents, due to not having enough paint and is visible. I sat for hours while the vehicle was being “serviced”. Upon completion they parked the vehicle in the front of the building. It was late and dark at this time. I drove home and inspected the vehicle under the light. I have called and left over a dozen messages with the dealership and have not received one return call! I left messages for the general manager, sales manager and salesman. This is after paying $32k for this car. There are other Mercedes dealerships in the area; save yourself headache and go anywhere but here! More
Misrepresented Extended Warranty I purchased a used Mercedes Benz from Pompano in September of 2014. The salesman, David Rubano and Finance rep, Curtis Early, sold me an extended war I purchased a used Mercedes Benz from Pompano in September of 2014. The salesman, David Rubano and Finance rep, Curtis Early, sold me an extended warranty which I was told would be valid for 5 years of 50,000 miles. I never had to use the warranty until today. When I went to the dealership they told me the warranty expired in December of 2018. First, I asked them why that date, They claimed it was only a 4 year warranty which makes no sense since I bought it in September of '14. I tried to explain to them if I thought the warranty was going to expire in December I would certainly have brought the car in for a complete inspection so that any work that needed to be done would be done under warranty. I asked the representative, Rusty, why I wasn't notified prior to the expiration so that I had the opportunity to extend it. He told me these are after-market warranties and I should have been contacted by a number of companies, as my name was sold to warranty companies. When I asked why I didn't get a heads up from the Pompano dealership, he said "we don;'t do that." They wanted to charge me for the repairs needed. I asked to speak to the manager and was told I could do so if I would wait for an hour and a half. This was at 3:30 PM. As they probably knew, I could not stay and wait. I asked that I be called today and was told I would be. I never received a call. While I was waiting in the waiting room I met two other customers who said their experience with the dealership was a nightmare. I understand their feelings. In my opinion, this was horrible customer service. I wasted $2495 on a warranty that I could not use when I needed it. I will contact the Mercedes Customer Service 800 number to lodge my complaint, knowing it will do no good. One thing is for sure. Neither I or any member of my family, will ever do business with Mercedes Benz of Pompano again. I 've owned two Mercedes and have dealt with numerous dealerships but have never been husted as I was with this warranty. They are the kind of dealership that gives car salesmen such a bad name. More

I took my car in for service on a Saturday, drove home, and when I was going out for dinner that day my wife noticed that the car had been crashed, I called left them a message, because they were closed, never got a call returned, called back Monday when they were open, was told I needed to speak with the Service Manager Todd Banks and that he would call me back. Long story short, Todd said that they would not take care of the damage to my car basically because I drove it away without overlooking the car. He NEVER looked at their video, this dealer cares noting about their customers. BUYERS BEWARE OF SERVICE HERE. More

My mother called 3 months ago regarding an extended warranty on her 2015 Mercedes truck and was given a quote; She explained that while it was approaching, her husband (my father was dying) and she was wanting to wait until after the funeral and everything to make the payment and go forward; The vehicle VIN was provided and it had even been in there for warranty issues previously. The lady advised her that she could call and make a payment over the phone up until the mileage reached the warranty expiration. This morning my mother called and was told she "doesn't qualify" - They did not give reasons. She asked and asked because the mileage was still under and was finally told she was not the original owner and it was a "rental" car - 1. NEVER was it a rental car (okay, that can be cleared up she stated) 2. Why was it not mentioned about the original ownership before? My mother would have had plenty of time to look for another company but now she is almost out of mileage and really can not even drive her vehicle home for fear of going over it- As she is elderly and widowed- something she mentioned on the recorded call the first time (she mentioned she had never taken care of these things and it was always her husband etc) - I requested a supervisor to explain that she was taken advantage of and requesting the recordings as this was not something that was ethical in any way; The previous girl never mentioned the word "qualification" and she said she would just call and "make a payment" - I wanted this fact to be there and when I requested the GM was told "you will not get a different answer" - that is not an acceptable answer at all- I still requested again and she told me "hold on" - she then hung up on me. We called back and she stated "the gm is not available and wont have a different answer" - we once again stated that we still wanted to make the grievance. The GM has yet to call and we have called 6 times requesting him/her additionally and have not gotten them yet. We have asked what time the GM will be there until as we will be headed that way to go speak with Cadillac , a brand we trust and will trade her vehicle in for tonight based on this experience. We were not given an answer. It would seem that in person is the only way we will be able to make our grievances. BEWARE!!! More
