I request info online and Grace contacted me to confirm that the car is available(live in NC), I called and Spoke with Mike to get more details info. he was very evasive with all my questions. after the ca that the car is available(live in NC), I called and Spoke with Mike to get more details info. he was very evasive with all my questions. after the call, I txt to request the final price with fees & tax included ( so I can finance with my bank). he promised to send but I have to provide a copy of my drive license which was not a big deal. then I received a txt from Grace who informed me that the car is no longer available and sold. then Mike call me to request the driver license. I asked him if the car still available since Grace just txt me it was sold. Mike get upset and confirm that the Car still available and hung up the phone. (They might have good selection or great prices not sure but the customer service is no good, I will go some where else). after reading others comment, make me wonder if they are even serious. Just stay away. More

The initial contact Grace was very helpful. She answered the request and forwarded to the sales team. A name was on it but I was never contacted by the dealer. I eventually called 24 -36 hours later. It was like talking to a 16 year old. Told me how cool the car was. Couldn’t answer any questions or provide any information. I asked what was in the carfax. “Dude it’s a carfax everything is in there”. What’s is the multipoint inspection and what does it contain. What were the results. “Dude you know everything to get licensed”. “You know everything you need; it’s good”. Ok can you tell me what they look at? “Everything man. Everything”. Can you tell me about the vehicle maintenance. “ yeah it’s good”. Ok so you can answer any questions for me I just have to fly out and see it? “Yes I recommend you come and see it. Click end of call. I did respond to the email again and it asked if I had questions. I did respond twice asking for someone not named Josh that may know more about the car. It was a useless effort and I never got a response. I don’t think that the over the email works but without a mature knowledgeable sales man you can’t get any information over the phone either. I wish Grace the assistant could have helped more. More

Another story of the car having been sold when I arrived for a scheduled test drive... So, I found a car on cars.com that was being sold be Merlex. It was a reasonable deal in an admittedly tight market ( for a scheduled test drive... So, I found a car on cars.com that was being sold be Merlex. It was a reasonable deal in an admittedly tight market (Summer 2021). I called and got some information on it and scheduled a test drive for a few days later. At the time, I asked them to put a note in the file to call me if anyone else was interested, which they agreed to do. The day before my appointment, I called again to be sure the car was still there. It was going to be a 2hr drive and I didn't want to go just to be disappointed. "Mike" confirmed that the car was still there and we were still scheduled for 11am the next morning. That evening I received a text from them saying they were looking forward to our test drive. All seemed good. I drove up there and, sure enough, the car had been sold 4 days prior. The salesman, who seemed moderately sorry about the confusion, said that the texts and person (Mike) I had spoken with were from the "online people" (presumably Cars.com) and didn't have real-time information on inventory. If he had tried to upsell me on a different car, I might have doubted his story. As it was, it seemed like one hand not talking to the other. In any case, I gave them 2 stars because they need to get their systems straight so that more people don't have the same experience I did. On the plus side, that had a reasonable selection of very high end cars and an excellent location. Their real estate value is worth WAY more than the profit they'll make selling cars. I can only guess that they will sell cars until they find a new location and then cash out on the dirt. Parking was tight, but they had arranged some "VIP" street parking and a very nice gentleman helped me find a place to park. More
