This was my first time getting a lease, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I was told upfront exactly how much it would cost to drive the car home, and I paid that amount. Later, I rec experience was extremely disappointing. I was told upfront exactly how much it would cost to drive the car home, and I paid that amount. Later, I received a call from the dealership saying they had “horrible news” and that I owed an additional $200 for my plate. This should have been disclosed and included from the start, not sprung on me after the fact. It feels dishonest and unprofessional to change the numbers after I already paid what was agreed upon. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a straightforward or transparent leasing experience. More

My friend took his vehicle in to be fixed“Bates Chevrolet on Allen rd in wood haven MICHIGAN has had my Yukon going on 4 months. i stopped by about a week ago and found that they have taken my vehicle off on Allen rd in wood haven MICHIGAN has had my Yukon going on 4 months. i stopped by about a week ago and found that they have taken my vehicle off their property i ask why and was told by Sherry the manager of the service dept that they didnt want me coming there and stealing my vehicle off of their property. YES I DO HAVE A ATTORNEY. OH and my bill went from 5000 to 8400 and my vehicle doesn't run it is the same as when i took it to them, they don’t know what is wrong with it.” He has tried contacting them MANY times!! More

On my Brother in law's recommendation I dealt with Erik Capion and he was right. My wife's lease on her F-150 was close to being up and with her being spoiled by driving 4x4 trucks for the last 6yrs., sh Capion and he was right. My wife's lease on her F-150 was close to being up and with her being spoiled by driving 4x4 trucks for the last 6yrs., she wanted another one. We decided to purchase a used vehicle this time around as lease's are outrageous now. Erik sold us a 2021 Silverado at a great price with no Bulls%#t and low mileage. Needless to say, she is very happy with it as I am too. I'm sure there are other great sales persons at Bates Chevrolet but Erik is my sales guy for any future purchases.
