I was scammed by their service department. I had a safety airbag problem that I brought my truck in for. I had hooked up my own OBDII scanner before taking it there. I was hoping to find a cod I had a safety airbag problem that I brought my truck in for. I had hooked up my own OBDII scanner before taking it there. I was hoping to find a code for the safety airbag but I found nothing, nothing at all. When we drove it to Michael Bates the dashboard was clean of any problems, no check engine, nothing. When my wife arrived and pulled into the service bay they plugged in a device to the truck and the check engine light magically turned on and they recorded some random code. When I tried to tell them about the safety airbag problem I got the palm of a hand stuck in my face and got a hard "NO". They would not listen to my input and work on the problem that I brought the truck in for. I foolishly left my truck and hoped they might fix my problem. They decided that my perfectly good battery needed to be replaced. The truck had not been towed in with a dead battery, the truck had started with lots of energy in our driveway and drove there with no indication of any issue. They claimed that the battery had very low voltage when they tested it, which is ridiculous considering the viger with which it had started when we brought it in, They replaced the battery and charged me $515.00 for this scam. I had to pay them to get my truck back, plus the safety airbag problem came up again with in a couple days. They refuse to own up to any of this and have lied on top of lies with there xx, More
