Awesome Service - Chevy Recall Ignition Key I received a recall notice for the ignition key on my '01 Chevy Malibu. After reading the inconsistent service reviews on the Chevy dealership down t I received a recall notice for the ignition key on my '01 Chevy Malibu. After reading the inconsistent service reviews on the Chevy dealership down the road from me and from the one I purchased the car from, I was hesitant take my car to either place. I wanted to go someplace where I wouldn't be pressured to do additional work. I found this website and was delighted by the number of excellent service reviews for Jerry's Chevy, especially Chris Gearity. I also double-checked their reviews on Yelp and found more of the same. I live in Sterling, but was happy to drive to Leesburg if it meant I would receive excellent, and thorough, service. I contacted them, spoke to Chris directly and after looking up my VIN and recall number, went on to explain the confirm the reason for the recall, which was very helpful. He got me in the very next day and I was out in approximately 20 minutes! I forgot to bring my second ignition key (hubby's key), which he assured me was not an issue, so I expect the same great experience when I go back in a few days. Check-out was a breeze with Annette cheerfully, and efficiently, getting me out the door. Should I need repairs in the future, I won't hesitate to go back and I will recommend Jerry's Chevrolet to my friends. More

From the outset, Chris Gearity suggested that the mirror was possibly defective The passenger side view mirror did not work from the time of delivery. From the outset, Chris Gearity suggested that the mirror was possibly defective, but replacement had to be authorized. After several unsuccessful attempts to fix it, I contacted a GM district specialist (Sandra) who assigned a case number (71-1326181085). After multiple additional visits (including 3 full days), Chris convinced the powers to be to authorize the mirror replacement. It was installed yesterday and works as expected. Chris went the the extra mile. I wish someone could have met him half way. More

Great experience! I had a great experience bringing my car in to get recall parts replaced. Everyone there was super friendly. A couple people offered to give my three year old crayons and a coloring book while we waited as well as to turn the tv on for her. A salesman even let us check out a corvette to which my daughter asked why there was no back seat for her. Chris and Annette were fantastic. Definitely want to come back when it's time to get a new Chevy, just not a corvette :) More
