If I could give Finance Director Carter One Star rating I would, My Dad & I are Thankful for CEO & General Manager correcting this cluster ! Took me 5 days to clear & get rid of extra add ons my elderly father did not want or need ! BUYER BEWARE ~Dont get played & fall victim ! Dont let No Cooling Off Wording Scare U Either, may or maynot get out of the contract , however u have every right to cancel costly add ons within said contract ! Word to the wise dont give your 5 star rating before leaving the dealership, review everything all paperwork before you sign and again afterwards. Mr Bob Carter told us several times it was a done deal, couldnt get out of these thousands of dollars extra add ons maintenenace packages, then after my complaint on their page, this man told my father and I after he kept saying before hand we couldnt drop almost 7 K worth of extended warranties, he all the sudden said well I can make this go away a year from now, you come see me twelve months from now we will cancel , he could not give a valid reason why he couldnt fix it within 24, 36, 72 hours of leaving the lot ! In the meantime dad would be paying a year into this , something he did not want or need , and if u waited that long ur the one who lost money , Get Clarification from General Manager, & CEO , double check with attorney on what ur told. Finance managers/directors tend to make quite a profit when it comes to any given auto extended warranty. As a consumer, u may have decided that you've gotten a raw deal. Whether it's because you think you're paying too much, you won't need the security buffer, fancy fast talk got u roped in to it, or u would rather cover repair expenses urself, u may want to cancel your warranty add ons. The good news is that you can cancel auto extended warranty AT ANY TIME , for any reason, and don't believe ANYONE who tells you otherwise. The bad news is that the previously mentioned finance guy don't want you to do so. everyone involved in the car dealership business made a profit from u, and the finance guy may lose his profit or commission if you cancel them. Know your rights. u are allowed to cancel, and if it's within 30 days of purchase u can get the entirety of ur money back. After 30 days u will get varying amounts depending on how long the coverage has been in effect.Thats why they dont want you to act fast & try to stall & put you off months , dont buy into their tactics ! The easiest way to cancel your auto extended warranty add ons will be to go back to the dealership in person. Deal with someone higher than the finance director,Go as high as you can to the CEO, Bring all your paperwork with you, Cancel your add on warranties, ask for a copy of the paperwork. This is the most important thing to remember. The longer the dealership waits to send in your paperwork, the less money you will get in return! Since most overnight your purchase & the dealership got paid that night you originally signed paperwork, its only fitting they do the same when it comes to returning your money ! We realize now Dealerships love to quote vehicles in terms of monthly payment,leaving the purchase price out of the equation until papers are signed, dealers are known to negotiaite lower the monthly payment by extending the loan term rather than cutting purchase price, talk more price not payment goes further with your buyers ! Finance manager/director is one of the most skilled people ,"He'll have u pile on a bunch of extras that you don't need."& Lie to you about must need , will be really persuasive to tack on as much as possible, his focus is monthly payment A big and most common mistake they play is focusing on how much you can afford a month , by doing this it makes it easier for the them to keep the vehicle price high and slip other things into your budget . & these add ons say in bold they are not required to obtain financing or purchasing of vehicle .These items are very profitable for the car dealership but probably won't add any extra value to your car.. If you're not interested, u have the right to tell the dealer you'd like to purchase it without add-ons, Get OUT THE DOOR PRICE Sometimes a dealer will offer a low quote, only to add additional charges later that bump up the sales price.let the dealer know you want an "out the door" price, which includes all the taxes and fees associated with the purchase of a new car. That way you won't waste time settling on a number, only to be surprised by a much higher price later, before you sign any paperwork double check whats currently offered on same vehicle same vin on your phone , its your responsibility to make sure the numbers match on the buyers order invoice they are not required to tell u ,New cars come with a variety warranty options,These extended warranties claim to offer extra protection should anything go wrong with your car, but according to Consumer Reports, the fine print might keep u from actually being able to use it. They are also highly profitable for the dealership,stores usually keep 50% or more of what they charge U,, its unfortunate but NO do not recommend buying from here. We do personally thank CEO Fitz & General Manager T Kelly ~Again ~for promptly handling this matter ! Honesty from the start thru the entire process would really improve here, TRUSTWORTHINESS GOES ALONG WAYS , I cant promise every soul that walks in will recieve it , quite evident they are lacking with this ! Maybe our expierences here will prevent others from having major headaches & endless sleepless nights. PS ~ Buyer Beware Again AVOID SOUTHEAST TOYOTA / WORLD OMNI FINANCIAL CORP WHOM DEALERSHIP INSISTS YOU FINANCE THAT COMPANY HAS A TWO STAR RATING JUST AWFUL , do yourself a favor and if you do financing of any kind use your own bank !!!!!
