I did have negative equity in my vehicle. 2018 Malibu with less than 20,000 miles, the finance manager low balled me on the trade in price and I was also told I would need to put down $12,000. He didn't want to deal with me. Needless to say, I left their dealership quickly. I visited Stivers Hyundai in Columbia within the same week. Stivers Hyundai offered me double what Dick Dyer Toyota offered and I drove off their lot in a new 2020 Hyundai Tucson SEL with NO money down,10 year/100,000 mile warranty and other free services for 3 years along with great monthly payments. Stivers gained a customer for life. More
