Suggestions Parts department is pretty drab.Needs to be updated with a better look.Ordered a cargo net for our 2019 Highlander.I live in Rock Hill but bought our Parts department is pretty drab.Needs to be updated with a better look.Ordered a cargo net for our 2019 Highlander.I live in Rock Hill but bought our Highlander at Dick Dyer.Guess after thinking about it I should have ordered at Toyota dealership here in Rock Hill just to save shipping it from Columbia to Rock Hill.My mistake for that.One small thing its not that big I told the service writer I was going to wait inside for service guess I didn't make myself clear.Saw my Highlander pulled into service bay and just thought paper work was being done after thirty minutes found out he had called my house in Rock Hill to tell me it was ready.My suggestion if you have a cell phone number and a land line number call both just to make sure there is not a failure in communications.Other then that it was a good experience in service department.I do want to make one suggestion I only had one person in show room speak to me while I was just enjoying looking at cars.Most others I saw was pretty much looking at their cell phones and never made eye contact with me.If I had been looking to buy that day and I was not that would have been a reason for me to walk out and go somewhere else.I am old school when it comes to browsing at least acknowledge my presence.Its not just your dealership where I have seen this I have seen this here in Rock Hill where I actually had to get a waitress to get off her phone to come back for a refill of a drink.Cell phone use is a very big no no with me. More

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Toyota Tacoma from Dick Dyer. I’ve never owned a certified vehicle or a Tacoma so I was excited about both because of the peace of mind that is supposed to come wi from Dick Dyer. My car buying experience was pretty good but a day after I get it home I hear a weird noise coming from the engine. I pop the hood and find a bottle of motor fluid trapped by the drive belt. It’s shredded and the fluid was all over. I contacted my salesman and he got me an appointment right away with the mechanics. They apologized and replaced the belt. I also had them fix the alignment since the truck pulled to the left when highway driving. That too is something that made it through their 100 and something point inspection. A week later they call me to tell me they also forgot to fix a recall and want me to drive back up there. Fast forward 3 months and I take it to Jiffy lube to get my oil changed and tires rotated and balanced, (it still pulls to the left btw and tires are wearing unevenly), when the mechanic calls me back to ask me if I messed with the brakes at all myself. I tell him no, that I’ve barely owned it 3 months. He shows me the front right break caliper has one of it retaining pins popped all the way out, just sort of hanging there. He said I was lucky that it didn’t do any damage to the breaks or anything else. The amount of inconvenience this dealerships mechanics have cost me is frustrating beyond belief and I don’t feel safe with my vehicle on the road after they’ve touched it. I won’t be buying or suggesting anyone I care about buy from them if they are letting cars on the road with potential safety issues. More
