Long Oil Change After calling the dealership on a Monday to schedule an oil change for mid-morning ok Tuesday I brought my vehicle to the dealership at the scheduled After calling the dealership on a Monday to schedule an oil change for mid-morning ok Tuesday I brought my vehicle to the dealership at the scheduled time. I have had my vehicle serviced at a different Toyota dealership outside of Charlotte before, and an oil change with a tire rotation has never taken more than an hour, so I decided to wait it out at the dealership and use this time as my lunch break at work. After an hour and a half I went to check on the status of my vehicle as I needed just an oil change to be completed. At that that point I had been waiting so long and adding extra time to the amount of PTO I would have to log at work, I told them to just skip washing my vehicle because I needed oil put in it and to drive off. After about ten minutes the associate who was helping me came back and said that all they had left was to lower my car and put the oil in. Fifteen minutes later I was finally able to checkout, bringing the time spent for a simple oil change to almost two hours. The saving grace was that the lady who assisted me (unfortunately I do not remember her name) did discount me $10 for the trouble; however, two hours for an oil change that excludes them running my car through the wash since I told them not to is unacceptable when I had scheduled an appointment. I will not be returning for future oil changes and will be driving the 80 miles to the dealership I’ve used in the past instead. More
