I contacted the service manager and we got the chance to talk. He offered me his team to keep trying to fix the car. I already sent the car back to them 2 times and it was sitting there for over a month. He assured me it was fine when they drove it. That is not true. The car has serious issues every time I drive it. I do not trust the dealership to fix the car, so I paid the bill (over 550) to get it back. I picked up the car today and barely made it home. It kept skipping and dying on every stop. Engine died over 10 times on my way and I am lucky that I made it home. In summary, I went in for an engine light check and I left with $1300 bill and a broken car. I understand the car is old and it may have some issues, but those issues got worse with every visit I made to this place. The dealership had no idea of what is wrong and how to fix it and they were not honest with me from the beginning. That was a terrible experience on so many levels. This post should warn people of what exactly is going on there.
