Was surfing around looking for cars when I came across an Expedition at Alsop's for $6,400. Very fair price so I inquired immediately. Got a response the next day telling me it's in service. (Kind of weird s Expedition at Alsop's for $6,400. Very fair price so I inquired immediately. Got a response the next day telling me it's in service. (Kind of weird since it's listed on the site.) Anyway after a few days I ask about it again, to be told that they were waiting on parts to replace the drivers window and window motor. No problem, I can wait. Still looking at cars when I happen to see an eerily similar Expedition listed on Facebook at $7,500. I check and sure enough, its the same car. Go to the website, same thing. So I text the rep asking why they changed the price by $1,100, and was told it was to cover that repair. Seems steep, first of all. 2nd, I wasn't told that a vehicle I was interested in and was planning to see was being raised in price by over 17%. I was still interested as it was lower miles and was hoping they'd work with me on the price a bit, since I had inquired at a different price. However, today I get a text that whilst performing their window repair, they noticed that the AC doesn't work just now and that it will require a few more days to get parts and fix, and that comes along with another price increase. At this point, I'm out. Why list a car that isn't even close to being ready to sell, especially if youre going to do such stark price increases? Comes across as very amateurish. More
