"Available" rebates are likely not available to you!! It is truly frustrating to be told a car will be sold for a certain price on multiple occasions only to find out, after a nearly 3 hour ride, that the It is truly frustrating to be told a car will be sold for a certain price on multiple occasions only to find out, after a nearly 3 hour ride, that the price is $4,000 more than confirmed, via written email, less than 24 hours earlier. I had submitted a request for additional information to Bob Richards website, you know, the "Click for our lowest internet price" button on the website and was promptly answered by Debra, 'my customer care specialist". I asked if the price posted online was accurate and if there were any hidden fees or charges not indicated and was told, via email response, that the advertised price was it. Debra said "We have no additional fees at Bob Richard's. You pay the sales prices, taxes based off of where you register the vehicle, and titling. That's it!" The day before traveling to Bob Richards CDJR I asked again if the price was still valid, even completing the math of 22,977 (Van's online sales price) + 500 (SC sales tax) + 15 (titling charge) = $23,494 and was told the pricing was "Still good to go!" Little did I know the price was still good to go UP!! 1) First off, the price of the minivan we were interested in increased $2,000 overnight, the night before our pre-scheduled visit. I checked the price online around 9 PM Friday night ($22,977) and was told by the salesman Derrick at 10:30 AM Saturday that the sales price had changed to $24,977. Needless to say I was a bit surprised by this sudden price increase. I had seen the car at the 22,977 online sales price for over a week. Derrick told me that since I had submitted my information online I should have received and e-mail notifying me of the price increase, that email for some reason was never received. 2) Immediately following the $2,000 overnight price increase shocker Derrick asked if I had good credit. I stated proudly, YES, last time I had it checked my credit score was over 800. He shook his head and said well we’re going to have to remove this $1,000 rebate for consumers bad credit – come to find out if my credit score was less than 620 I could have gotten a rebate of $1,000. I thought people typically got rewarded for paying their bills on time not penalized $1,000 – that nugget of information was not mentioned prior to my visit. 3) After that, Derrick said you mentioned you’re not planning to trade anything in right? I said no, that’s why I brought my nephew, the plan is for him to drive one of the vehicles home. Come to find out since I was not trading in a Kia, Honda or some other specific car another $1,000 in rebates no longer applied! – another bit of Information not shared with me before my visit. 4) When I questioned Derrick on why I was not informed of the overnight price changes, inapplicable rebates and even provided a copy of the full email chain between my customer care specialist, Debra, and myself confirming there are no hidden charges only taxes and titling, his response was Debra does not deal with pricing. Derrick said “I apologize” so many times during our encounter, but apologies don’t remove the frustration and loss of trust I now have in Bob Richards. I have never felt so misled by a business! My take from my Bob Richard’s experience is you can't trust all car dealerships. Also if the price appears too good to be true don’t waste your gas or time, even if you have the price confirmed from a representative of the dealership in writing! We will be purchasing our next car from a dealership which values our time and treats us as they would expect to be treated, as a valued and respected customer. More

They refused to give me any price quote, and frankly, treated me like I was dumb. They ended up wasting an hour of my time. I suspect this dealership uses bait and switch tactics coupled with sales tricks....so don't get your hopes up. More

They did take care of that but took over an hour to have this corrected. Once home and was able to get vehicle in the air we discovered another $1000+ worth of work that has to be done (AC compressor leaking oil, and either a bad sending unit for the oil pressure or possible blockage in oiling system, yet to be determined). Other than that the staff are very friendly. More

I initially went in to see Craig Paro to take a look at their stock of Wrangler Unlimited Jeeps. There was only one that met all the criteria I was looking for and while I wasn't a fan of the color at first, it grew on me. There was no pressure to buy right then and there like other dealerships. I walked away that day, went to other lots, went home, did more research, and slept on it. I set up a follow on appointment with Mr. Paro for this morning, test drove the Wrangler and an hour later I was driving home with my new Wrangler Unlimited Chief. I was upside down on my trade-in, but they worked the numbers and the bottom line was still a fair price compared to other Jeeps on the market or even straight from the Jeep Website.
