He helped me determine the best van for our needs. The second mobility vehicle that I purchased is a Ford Transit van. I had never driven a vehicle with a lift before. From day 2 that I had the van, I had questions. Derek Crum, their Adaptive Equipment Specialist, has been truly amazing. He has been there with me every time a question or issue came up giving me solutions over the phone. The latest example, we were on a road trip and stopped at a hotel on a Friday night. After my wheelchair bound husband was out of the van, the lift stopped working. Panicked, not knowing how I would get my husband back in the van to continue our journey home, I called and left a message for Derek. This was a Friday night, and Saturday morning Derek returned my call and walked me through several troubleshooting steps. It worked, the lift was functioning again, and we were back on the road! Without Derek’s assistance, who knows how long we would have been stranded there. I highly recommend Mobility Auto Group. Derek was thorough, professional and timely. He was ready when scheduled and completed the job sooner than expected. He worked hand-in-hand with our OT to ensure my wife's needs were meticulously met. He was conveniently available by text, cell and email & promptly replied to any follow-up questions we had. Derek installed two power wheelchair lockdown systems and hand-controls. When I had issues with our Honda Odyssey van door, he took the time to explain how to maintain it ourselves. He answered all our questions and in the end we call him our friend. How great it is to find assistive mobility dealership that treats you right, is professional and fairly priced!
