Love my buying experience at Crest Ford! I was looking for a particular car and Crest Ford had an ad on Auto Trader (I believe) for the exact car in the color I wanted. I called and asked if I was looking for a particular car and Crest Ford had an ad on Auto Trader (I believe) for the exact car in the color I wanted. I called and asked if the car was still in stock. Darlene assured me that they still had it. It was a pleasure when I arrived and found the car had been washed and parked right in front for me. After test driving the car and discussing the vehicle and price with Terry I decided that I trusted them and I loved the car and the price was fair so I bought the vehicle and it was so nice dealing with honest good people. I had just bought my previous vehicle and didn't have a good experience with that and then had been looking for a vehicle for about a week with some experiences that I would be ashamed of if I owned those car dealerships. Some have no ethics and don't care about their references, Crest Ford made a uncomfortable experience pleasant by being honest, fair and giving me a pleasant car buying experience.Thanks Crest Ford and Terry and Darlene. Crooked, Rude, and not worth the time While shopping to purchase a used Ford Focus, I called this dealership inquiring about a car they had listed online, asking if they could help me out While shopping to purchase a used Ford Focus, I called this dealership inquiring about a car they had listed online, asking if they could help me out a little on the price before I considered driving out there. I was answered by Dave, who said he would knock $400 off the asking price if I drove out there to look at the car. Everything online and over the phone seemed to check out, so I scheduled a trip out there to look at the car. When I arrived, I test drove what I thought was the car I viewed, but I immediately noticed this one had 8000 more miles than what was listed. When I finished the test drive (with my family only, Dave the salesman did not come on the ride) I asked him why there were almost 10000 more miles than what they listed. He told me the one I viewed has transmission problems and can't be sold, but they pulled this one aside for me to view instead. They never mentioned that over the phone or in any email. I then asked about the price, as I wasn't going to pay as much for a car with almost a year's more worth of miles. Dave then proceeded to tell me they were firm on the price being $200 more than what they told me because "It's in much better shape than the other one" that I didn't even get to see in person. Dave did not proceed to be helpful or friendly when I called out how silly of an argument that is to try and pull a fast one, offering a worse car for a higher price. We then proceeded to show Dave online better deals on better milage cars very close by in the area, with the intention that if he would work with the ridiculous price I would consider getting this car anyways. He then told me that I might as well "go out and buy the car with a better deal". Well Dave, I took your advice. I found a great deal on a 2013 ford focus hatchback that we knocked down to 9900, with almost 30000 miles less than the car Crest Ford had to offer. Dave was by far the most rude, unhelpful, and deceitful salesman I experienced throughout my entire car shopping experience. Not only did I have a horrible experience, but the mother of one of my clients was intimidated into buying another car that had transmission problems, and Crest Ford did not try to help her switch or fix her vehicle. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to family or friends, nor would I feel comfortable taking my vehicle here to ever get serviced.
