Found a used car online for less than 15k, which Is about KBB price. Drove over an hour to get there after completing financing info earlier by phone. My father bought a 2018 Ford Edge here with 77k miles. Within 30 miles the check engine light came on. Brought the vehicle in for the service department to evaluate. They said the computer read out did not show any codes, they turned the light off and I went about my way. Within another 30 miles or so the check engine light came on again, so brought it back. This time they replaced the spark plugs and coils. This lasted 3 days and maybe 60 driven miles before the light returned. Now waiting two days for them to tell me what the problem is. They tell me that a Ford mechanic is looking at it but I’m wondering if they know how to diagnose the vehicle. Not real happy with the service department. More
