Edward Mack called us on Thursday and we said we could come Saturday. Of course Saturday turned into a stormy spring day in North Texas. We still went to the dealership and Edward was still ready to show us the truck and let us test drive in the stormy weather. We bought the truck for the price we wanted from the car buying service with no hassle whatsoever. We very much appreciated it having to hassle over price. The over all experience was very good . Not doing work requested and upcharging, adding extra work Took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited to Moritz for a leaking uncharged AC under ticket # 668948. Next day I was called and said the AC condenser w Took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited to Moritz for a leaking uncharged AC under ticket # 668948. Next day I was called and said the AC condenser was damaged and line was leaking, said it looked like something hit it?, Vehicle is not damaged or in an accident so how could it have been damaged, I was expecting a bad gasket/O-ring not a completely new condenser and lines. The repair of this will be $1,300 + but wait you also have a very badly leaking radiator and it also needs replacing? Where did this come from, my car parks in a epoxy covered garage floor every night, I never seen a leak anywhere in garage floor or did and low coolant level light never came on? That cost will be $800+. I asked that the "BAD" parts be set aside so I can see them when I pick up my Jeep, Saturday when I got to dealer I was presented with a $2,167.80 bill, I did ask for and oil change for $49.95. When I asked to see my bad parts I was directed to a trash pile and the mechanic dug thru the pile and said this one must be yours look all down side you see the staining that's the leak, really! I asked this mechanic who said he worked on my Jeep Thursday if he took the radiator out before doing the AC condenser, he said no you don't have too. If you know anything about cars and placement of AC condensers its most efficient to remove radiator first, if its true he didn't remove the radiator he needed to remove front grill and bumper, with a sloppy/dirty as this mechanic(who ever did the work) was my Jeep did not have the grill removed. So my big question was it better for Moritz to charge me for a new radiator and get paid for that along with the new condenser to upcharge this repair. I know my AC was leaking I started last summer, I could put a can of Freon in and it would last a week or so, the condenser they shower me in the pile was damaged and would not hold any Freon and my car was not loosing antifreeze as they say it was. Moritz I feel in this case has lied and up charged me for parts I didn't need until I brought my Jeep to them. This was the third or maybe forth time my car was in to Moritz Jeep, couple of oil changes and one firing issue, during that I was unhappy with spark plugs not being changed but that's a hole other story. My biggest problem is a $2,167.80 bill for a leaking AC repair! More

He was sharp, knew the business and helped me find the vehicle I would be happy with and could afford. I will be recommending him to my friend who will be in the market shortly for a pre-owned car, along with the dealership. This is the fifth or sixth car my husband and I have bought from Moritz over the years. More

Had it's ups and downs, but we got our truck We unfortunately had to come a total of three times before satisfaction was met. First time we dealt with Ed Horton whom seemed nice initially. Then w We unfortunately had to come a total of three times before satisfaction was met. First time we dealt with Ed Horton whom seemed nice initially. Then we got to finance and had to deal with Dusty. He started off very cocky in that we would be looking at a 5.1% interest rate and that if he made a call he could even get us into the 4's range. Now, we have bought out fair share of vehicles in our time and with a 793 credit score this was shocking. He threw his hands up and was like then there is no point of us even talking, so we walked out. Ed Horton came and when realized we didn't get the deal didn't even shake our hands when leaving. Now had he apologized and shook our hands we would have come back to him, but that rubbed us the wrong way. So the second time we came, I brought my own bank financing at a much lower rate and I wanted a different salesmen and met Mack who was just great. He showed us this amazing truck that we wanted and was all set to go with a price we had seen online. Then come to find out the IT department screwed up and didn't add the $10K in add-ons so all of a sudden the price skyrocketed and we were very upset. Finance came to apologize, but we were already very upset and ready to go. We finally found another truck we liked, but before driving all the way up for a third time, I called Mack and told him after the previous issue, I wanted to verify that the price I was seeing online be was correct. Turns out again it wasn't and had went up again. This time only $1500 but still it almost scared us away for good. My husband and I discussed it for some time and said ok if u can email me the final TTL and have the truck ready to be seen we will come back. He did and was very patient and honest with us want that was very much appreciated. The vehicle was correct, we agreed on the price and went back to financing. Thankfully we didn't have to deal with Dusty this time. Thankfully Ed had warned Mack about a previous mishap with Dusty and told him to make sure we got a different person so he wouldn't lose them the deal. We were so glad that instead we got with John. He got us a better rate than even our bank did. He wasn't super pushy about all the extras, but still gave us a good deal on the extended warranty and GAP plan. So I will end with this... Dusty is going to cost you sales due to his poor attitude and rudeness. Guys like Mack and John are definitely keepers. I'm all about honesty and not having my time wasted and these two completely turned our terrible terrible previous experiences around. Final note, because I don't think I did one of these in my last two purchases there, we had Bruce those last two purchases and he was amazing as well. We stopped by and said hello and he still remembered us from our 2010 and 2016 purchases. We were initially looking to work with him again, but Mack met me in the front and took wonderful care of us.
