The environment was busy and had many options but he allowed us to lead the way. The check out process was very thorough but not robotic. Everything was up front and straight forward, yet personal. We drove a long way the find the right dealer for a common product because to us the experience of making the decision was as important as the end result. First Impression Overall I had a good experience at Zeck Ford. It could have been a little better, but it was good. Buddy helped me search for a truck although my criteria was very picky. I eventually saw a truck I liked on their website that was priced higher than the criteria I gave Buddy and decided to come in for a test drive. I worked with Dustin who was very relaxed, answered my questions, and didn't pressure me into anything. When Dustin pulled the truck up it was covered in mud (I called an hour and a half earlier to set up an appointment) It would've been nice if the truck was clean when I got there. Other than the mud the only issue I saw with the truck was a low tire. I asked for service to check that out and went inside to fill out paper work to buy the truck. One thing to consider with Zeck Ford is that they do not negotiate the price of their vehicles and will add a $399 admin fee. They initially offered me far less than what I wanted for my trade, but after speaking with Jay we were able to work out a deal on my trade. Everything seemed fine, and pressure free. Then the front room/ back room tactics began. The finance person I worked with, Dave, ended up selling me a warranty I really didn't want. He made it seem like a great deal, but after the deal was over, I went home and researched it a little more, slept on it, and I decided I didn't want it. When I left, the service guy mentioned everything was fine with the truck and they checked the tire I was concerned about. After leaving, the tire pressure sensor said the same tire was low again. When I went back in to cancel the warranty I had service look at the tire again and there was a nail in it. 99% sure that's why the tire was low to begin with and it wasn't initially fixed when I rose concern about the low pressure. Service patched the tire at no charge and I was on my way. So I thought. After driving a few miles I had to turn around and go back to the service department because the wheel was off balance. Either it wasn't balanced properly the first time or the wheel weight was improperly installed. I have enjoyed my truck in the few days I've had it, and would recommend others to Zeck Ford. My complaints are that their service department could use some improvements, and for others to do their homework prior to agreeing to any warranty. Thanks, Steve More
Great service I went to Zeck Ford with a car in mind I had seen on Auto Trader. I called about 30 minutes ahead of time and scheduled my appointment with Jeffrey B I went to Zeck Ford with a car in mind I had seen on Auto Trader. I called about 30 minutes ahead of time and scheduled my appointment with Jeffrey Bowlin since he was the salesman who responded to an earlier e-mail inquiry. Got there, asked for Jeffrey and the rest is history. Very laid back atmosphere with absolutely no pressure. And I mean no pressure. The only time I was ever asked to buy something was when I was signing the financing paperwork and I was asked if I wanted an automotive protection package, which was the most pressure I felt during the whole experience, which on a scale of 1 to 10; would be a 1. Jeffrey was a very friendly and professional salesman and I thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering buying a vehicle at Zeck Ford. If he isn't available, I'm sure the other salesman are just as good. We will be back after the new year to shop for another vehicle for sure! More
2013 C-Max Hybrid We had been looking for a good high mpg used car for quite some time when I found several C-Max Hybrids at Zeck Ford on Autotrader. Decided to go down We had been looking for a good high mpg used car for quite some time when I found several C-Max Hybrids at Zeck Ford on Autotrader. Decided to go down to Leavenworth and check them out. Buying a car from Ray at Zeck was a different experience for both me and my wife in that we compared vehicles on line at Ray's desk to narrow down the field before test driving any. We finally narrowed it down to two and drove both of them. We liked one better than the other, but both of us have phobias about buying anything on the first visit. So, they let us take it home for the week end and come back on Monday. We both thought that was nice of them. While we were trying out the car, we decided that although we liked it, we wanted one with a few more extras. So when we returned it, we looked at two more and picked one of them to take home. The car we picked seems to have every thing we wanted and was only slightly higher than the one we had for the weekend. All through the buying process Ray and all the staff at Zeck Ford were very pleasant to deal with. No unnecessary pressure at all. Since the purchase we have found a couple of small items that needed fixing and everyone at Zeck was very helpful and attentive to our needs and fixed them promptly. All in all, a great car buying experience that I would recommend to anyone. More
