Disappointed, bought a new 2026 Silverado 3. 0L diesel with service contract-plus for 3 oil changes with tire rotation and safety inspection. Went in for the first service on the contract and was 0L diesel with service contract-plus for 3 oil changes with tire rotation and safety inspection. Went in for the first service on the contract and was told that tire rotation was not included. I see on the website that there are 3+3+3 service programs which at the time of purchase of the vehicle, was told was a good idea. I spent $349 on the program which appears to be for the 6.6 L diesel. At the time of the service appointment, the service writer told me that rotation was not included in the service package, and it would cost $26.00 more. I held off until I was able to investigate further. I am disillusioned on their interpretation of their own offerings. Next service, which is pre-paid, the level of service will be discussed. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but people need to know about my experience with Morristown Chevrolet. I took my 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 in after it dropped three lifters. I was told the exten to know about my experience with Morristown Chevrolet. I took my 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 in after it dropped three lifters. I was told the extended warranty company decided it would be better to replace the entire engine with a new GM crate motor instead of repairing the lifters. Less than 500 miles later, the replacement engine started ticking again. I took the truck back and dropped it off. It sat there for around four weeks without being touched. After I repeatedly called and complained, they finally pulled it into the shop. While the truck was there, they diagnosed a separate front-end shaking issue and replaced the passenger-side upper control arm along with the passenger-side wheel hub and bearing. I was told everything was good to go except for the lifter issue because the technician who handles that work was out sick. I picked the truck up, but the very next day I returned because the front end was still shaking. Despite replacing the control arm and wheel bearing, the problem was not fixed. Nothing was done to address my concerns, and it’s now been another 3–4 weeks with little to no communication from the dealership about repairing my truck. Tonight, I decided to inspect it myself. I jacked the truck up and found that the passenger-side upper control arm they had installed was completely loose. The bolt and nut could literally be removed with my fingertips. This is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Not only was the truck unsafe to drive, but the loose control arm bolt has now completely destroyed one of my brand-new 24-inch tires. The tire is fully worn out and ruined from the suspension not being properly secured after the repair. Now I’m stuck replacing an expensive tire on top of dealing with all the other issues. My 2-year-old son and my 14-year-old son have both been riding in this truck, which is my only means of transportation. If that control arm had come apart while driving, it could have caused a serious accident resulting in serious injury or worse. Between the replacement engine developing a ticking noise in less than 500 miles, the truck sitting for nearly a month before being worked on, the lack of communication, the unresolved shaking issue, the loose suspension components, and now a ruined tire because of what appears to be improper workmanship, I have completely lost confidence in Morristown Chevrolet’s service department. This situation goes beyond poor customer service—it’s a serious safety concern. I expected better from a Chevrolet dealership. I cannot recommend Morristown Chevrolet based on my experience. More
Absolutely amazing service from them. I was in a sticky bind with a truck that was xxxxxxx up all my money, and got me into a brand new car, cheaper payment and much better gas mileage. Me and my whole family have used him now and he’s made all of our lives so much better. Definitely will be returning back to see him next time we get another vehicle!!! More
I just purchased my 2nd vehicle in less than 2 months with a 3rd purchased by my son as well. Everyone has been amazing but Jacob Gossett has been outstanding to me and my family. We likely would not have purchased if it wasn't for him. He may be young but that man has got it. So personable and just all around down to earth. Answered every question and if he didn't have an answer he found it for me. Very responsive to text. I told him he was my go to and obviously i have 3 vehicles in my driveway now because of him. He definitely is a leader with the right mentor. I told him to be a sponge and absorb all he can and he will go far. We could certainly be friends outside of the business. I have all good things to say about my experience at Morristown Chevrolet. First, my salesperson David Proffitt came out to meet us in the parking lot in the drizzle, something the other Chevy dealer Morristown Chevrolet. To me, that's putting the customer's needs above your personal comfort. Before I even got out of the car, Spencer was on the phone with Dave wanting to know if I was trading in my car, something I had not planned on. In the end he worked a deal I was very happy with. Another plus is they did not drill unnecessary holes in the front bumper for the license plate mount. Again the big dealer in Knoxville told me it was corporate policy to do this. That's a deal breaker for me. We had not planned on buying a vehicle that day but Dave and Spencer worked with us to make it happen. In all, I would recommend Morristown Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new vehicle. They put us first in the buying process and made it a great experience. Thanks Dave and Spencer. More
