This my second time writing about about this dealership, I was promise a lifetime free oil change when I purchase this vehicle. I informed the sale rep that I was in the military and would attending school I was promise a lifetime free oil change when I purchase this vehicle. I informed the sale rep that I was in the military and would attending school in Texas, never was told that the oil service couldn't be transfer to different states at the time of the purchase of the trucks. I was informed at the Dodge dealership in El Paso, Texas that it could be transferred but for some strange reason Moss Bros want do it. This is the second time this dealership hasn't honored or stood by their word. Best believe I will be spreading the word out to my fellow brother and sister that are serving in the area of Southern California, my last position was serving as a ROTC Senior Military Science Instructor for a good portion of Southern California, I will also inform my former staff and fellow professor that if they are thinking of purchase a vehicle from Moss Bros, think twice and go to a different dealership. I am sure I will be writing another review on this dealership because I just discovered that the truck I purchase that was suppose to have a 32 gallon tank doesn't and it just has the standard one that it came with from the factory. I don't know how many other good hard working people this dealership has scammed. More
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP/SERVICE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP/SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! We had our vehicle towed to Moss Bros on 9/18/13 with a broken timing belt cove DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP/SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! We had our vehicle towed to Moss Bros on 9/18/13 with a broken timing belt cover and asked for a diagnostic and an estimate for repairs.Carlos Akierman stated perhaps 2-3 hrs. labor at the most. Mr. Akierman called on 9/23/13 with an estimate of $5,400. We declined to repair the vehicle. We contacted Mr. Akierman on 9/25/13 and asked for an estimate on installing a motor. He said he would "work it up" and get back to us. He called us on 10/01/13 with a verbal estimate of $4,000. to install a motor that we would provide. We asked him to email us the itemized estimate. The estimate emailed was $3,152.49 (I fail to see how he could have made a mistake of over $800 -between the verbal and itemized/emailed estimates- when he had 5 days to work on the verbal estimate) We declined the repairs and asked him to put all the parts in a box so we could have the whole vehicle towed out of the service dept. When my husband went to the dealership to pay the bill (expecting a bill for 2-3 hrs service) he was told the bill was $600. When the amount was disputed and he asked Mr. Akierman to show how the work done amounted to $600 he became very rude, and was unable to show how the work they did amounted to $600, but, still refused to release the vehicle without the full amount paid. When my husband mentioned calling the Bureau of Automotive Repair Mr. Akierman stated in extremely angry and aggressive way, " then why don't you get the California Bureau of Automotive Repair to come down here and get your vehicle for you. because there's no way you're getting this car out of here without giving me $600!" We had no choice but to pay the $600 to have our car released. When the vehicle arrived at the (new) repair shop it was found that Moss Bros had NOT included all the parts to my vehicle. We had to purchase a power steering belt tensioner and a torque strut mount bracket (when Moss Bros was contacted to ask for these parts they insisted the new shop had "lost" them). It was also found that Moss Bros charged us for replacing a timing belt, but, did NOT even remove the old belt. This is the most unethical dealership/service department I have EVER had the misfortune to have to deal with. We have filed complaints with both the BBB and the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Do NOT take your vehicle here!! Don't say you haven't been warned!! More

We had our car at another shop, who were unable to find or fix our problem. Not only did this dealership find our problem, but in the mean time prevented an even larger problem from occurring. I took my 2004 Cherokee in because it was making a loud humming sound at higher speeds. Alan said it was the transfer case. So I spent the $900+ on that repair. When I got it back, it was making the same n humming sound at higher speeds. Alan said it was the transfer case. So I spent the $900+ on that repair. When I got it back, it was making the same noise! I feel like I just threw away $900! I went back, and even the mechanic came out and said he told Alan that is was actually the wheel bearing, and that I would come back complaining about the noise. Alan wasn't there but they said they would talk to Alan and a manager and call me back. Nobody ever called me back. More
I had an exhaust leak in my Durango. They explained the problem to me and showed me where it was coming from. They explained the possible unseen problem of broken bolts and potential costs. They gave me problem to me and showed me where it was coming from. They explained the possible unseen problem of broken bolts and potential costs. They gave me an accurate quote which I appreciate and finished the service one day earlier than predicted. No pressure, no extra worked pushed on me and the Durango was returned clean and running great. More
