After a very inauspicious beginning, including a trip from another city to view a car which we were assured was definitely "on the site," and arriving to find that the car was NOT on premises at all, and from another city to view a car which we were assured was definitely "on the site," and arriving to find that the car was NOT on premises at all, and other vocal assurances via telephone from various members of the sales staff that turned out not to be the case, negotiations at a later date during a follow-up visit with the General Manager brought about the culmination of our intentions. Don't go there expecting to wangle a "hot deal" for yourself. It is not going to happen. But auto dealerships are NOT "Not-for-Profit" businesses. The effective negotiations were carried out with the General Manager, who was affable, intelligent, and professional. He made some good money for the company in this deal as well, which is why, it can be seen, that he IS the General Manager. The dealership, regardless of our OWN initial experiences, seems to be a well-run organization in general. Even with our own not-so-enjoyable experiences at the beginning, I certainly would NOT direct prospective buyers to go elsewhere. This is a large and busy dealership, and no large organization works perfectly all the time. More
