Service VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I recently took my '95 Chev Silverado in for emission/safety service for an 8:30 appointment. I also informed them to repair a le VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I recently took my '95 Chev Silverado in for emission/safety service for an 8:30 appointment. I also informed them to repair a leak from the wiper fluid reservoir. The service advisor, George, told me he would call me when the service was completed. By 3:30 I hadn't receive a call so I call George who tells me that he was just about to call me. He then informs me the vehicle passed Emission Inspection but failed Safety due to Driver side marker bulb, leaky power steering hose and loose Idler and Pitman arm. He quoted me $300 to repair the p.s. hose and $875 for I/P arm totally $1175.00. I asked him about the leak on the reservoir, he said he would check on this and call me back after he consulted with his tech. Meantime I check the price online for the needed items. Power steering hose was approximately $35.00 and I/P arm kit $60.00. When George call back I confronted him on the outrageous cost to which he said this is the cost repair and additional $80.00 for the reservoir now totally $1255.00 + tax. I was afraid to ask the cost of a bulb. I declined the repairs telling George that I could have the repair done at a lower price someplace else. I immediately took my vehicle to a reputable auto repair shop. I was quoted $125.00 for p.s.hose and $340.00 for I/P arm. I left my vehicle overnight. Next day I received a call informing me that the I/P arm was tight and doesn't have any issue. They replaced the hose, bulb and reservoir pump totaling $213.00, saving of over a $1000.00. NO LONGER A MURDOCK CUSTOMER!! I had previously purchased this vehicle brand new from them. What a ripoff on the verge of FRAUD? More
Service needed on new purchase We purchased a used car 5 days ago. Last night we had a problem where the drivers inside door handle broke when we were getting out of the car. It end We purchased a used car 5 days ago. Last night we had a problem where the drivers inside door handle broke when we were getting out of the car. It ends up that door handles are not covered on the extended warranty. After talking to the sales manger about the problem. The store offered to take care of the problem for me at no cost. This extra service was greatly appreciated. It is this kind of extra favor that truly makes the difference between an average dealer, and a great one. Thanks Douglas Potter More

I was introduced to a very personable and friendly salesman, Les Sadler, who invited me to test drive a Chevy Equinox.. He was very informed about the vehicle and allowed me to take it home to show my wife...who immediately fell in love with it. The price and terms were right and we returned to purchase it. More

I would recommend their service department to anyone! Also they have a wonderful customer waiting area with free wi-fi, desks, sodas and popcorn. I have been able to get work done while waiting for my car to be serviced. I am completely satisfied! More
Terrible, Lied to, car in worse cont\dition now than before TERRIBLE!!!!! I went there for the reviews, but had the worst experience I could have. My car broke down on memorial weekend. I was traveling from out TERRIBLE!!!!! I went there for the reviews, but had the worst experience I could have. My car broke down on memorial weekend. I was traveling from out of state so I had to rent a car to get me home. The people were nice but told me my battery was dead and I HAD to purchase a new battery from them for them to run their diagnostics tests before I could do anything. My battery was under warrant and I informed the salesman of that. He still told me unless I had a new battery they could not help me. So I bought a battery and told him I wanted my old warrantied battery so I could get a refund on it. They finally ran diagnostics tests and told me it was only the battery nothing else. Wrong!!!! My battery worked the whole time my car broke down until I tried to start it 20+ times and finally killed it. So I needed to have it prime condition to come back to Idaho. I asked for an oil change and 100,000 mile tune up including spark plugs and wires. These were done in a timely manner, however when I went to pick up my car the person told me " I don't know what was done to your car"!!!! I could read the paperwork he handed me stating an oil change and spark plugs and wires were changed. This is not a tune up, They didn't touch my air filter! It also has a ticking sound it never had before. I asked the man about the ticking to which he responded again " I don't know what was done to your car" so I took it to the hotel where I started looking under the hood only to find my plastic manifold cover was not even bolted down. Wonder what else they missed??? Unfortunently the business was closed by them so I could not return. I carefully drove home and by the luck of God made it. I have called to complain about these issues and was told that my vehicle did not have a cover and the mechanic remembers that specifically. And they don't know why I had issues because this was their best mechanic. They offered to have me come back in, but I live in Idaho. There was no offer of refund or send to me a dealer on their dollar in Idaho. Just "let me know whats wrong when you know:". I paid $600 for nothing to get done to my car and I did not receive my battery that was under warranty so I am out another $170 with nothing I can do to get any back. I complained to Reyna who calls asking how your service was and was informed I would hear from a a mangaer. Here we are a month later and still no call form them. No offer to fix my issues or send me to a dealer here locally that can help me, no refund, nothing!! I wasted $600 and have to have everything they did redone because they are too incompetent to make a phone call after having lied to me , not given me my battery, made my car worse and charged me for diagnostics. I would not reccomend anybody go to the service department or ask for managment because they just do not care. More

May they live forever!) I had to have my alternater replaced a couple of weeks ago by my brother-in-law of my Oldsmobile Alero. He had to unhook the battery at the time of replacement thereby causing the computer to no longer recognize my keyless entry. I called Charles in the service department at Murdock Chevrolet in Woods Cross, Utah. He said bring it on over during your lunch break. I am so glad I did. I was in and out in under ten minutes. He knew what he was doing and where to get the information when he needed a little more information. What a sweetie! He treated me so kindly! He is a keeper! Kim Smith Bountiful, UT More
