The Subaru I now drive is a 2001 Outback. Previously, I owned a 1988 Subaru wagon. I purchased the Subarus because the size and style of the car fits my lifestyle, because the car is reliable, and because owned a 1988 Subaru wagon. Regular maintenance is part of the reason a Subaru lasts forever! When I purchased my cars, the dealership was under a different name and had a different owner. I "moved" to the new location with the new owner. I would never consider doing anything else. The fellows who work on my car KNOW my car. The service manager, Frank, knows me when I call. I feel that Frank has never steered me in the wrong direction. When he and the repairmen recommend something, it is done with consideration for my budget and my safety. Frank "warns" me ahead of a big repair ("Next time you come in for an oil change, it will be a good idea to . . . .). They say that my car can last another 100,000. :-) But if it doesn't last that long, the first place I'll look for a new car is at My Auto Import Center. My Nissan had a faulty wiper transmission so I asked about getting it fixed while in for a routine oil change. They ordered the part and I went back 10 days later to have it replaced. While there, the service department realized they had ordered the wrong part so I ended up having to go back another 8 days later. Though I had to make an extra trip, the service was excellent from the start and they made sure I was satisfied before I left. Being a mother of two small children, I appreciate the seperate play area for the kids and they provide beverages, snacks, TV, internet, and reading material of all different tastes. I highly reccommend My Auto time and time again. More

I am a last minute person and of course you can never know when your car will need service. Whenever I have a problem I can always walk in, call and make an appointment or talk directly to Eric about my know when your car will need service. He is always willing to go an extra 1,000 miles to make sure that my son and I are driving in a safe car. Eric is also very willing to help out with cost. Not every day is a payday! I have worked with My Auto for over 10 years with multiple Toyotas, too numerous to count. As a recent Audi convert, they have serviced all of them. When I speak of service, they know my name. They bend over backwards to fix problems when they occur. I have them do all of my oil changes and purchase all of my tires from them. They are a one stop shop who offer white glove service. Need a windshield repair or replaced?-they can do it. Need upholstery taken care of?- they can do it. Need wheels repaired?-they can do that too. Need a shuttle ride around town or a rental car?-they can do that as well. Need a winning lottery ticket?- your on your own... I have only purchased one car from their used department. There was no bait and switch. Good honest business and I drove away extremely satisfied with an excellent trade in and fantastic value of my new to me purchase. I would disregard any bad review of any ranter that doesn't use their real name. My Auto is the place to have good things happen to your car, when it needs it. More

Over the last decade I have purchased 2 Subaru's, 3 VW's and have personally recommended people/family who have purchased a Toyota and 2 new VW's. All totaled - between my own purchases and the sales VW's and have personally recommended people/family who have purchased a Toyota and 2 new VW's. All totaled - between my own purchases and the sales to other - I have brought $330,000 in sales to this place! When my 2010 VW TDI sportwagon had the power locks and radio fail just after going off warranty I thought no problem these guys will value my business and help me out with getting these things fixed - WRONG! I was told "well these things happen with VW's" and "We will contact our VW rep for help".... Three weeks later after a dozen unreturned phone calls I finally hear back that I should go to a bigger dealership like Betton Imports in Grand Rapids. I was told the VW rep wont even return My Auto Imports calls. Ive asked to speak to the owner -" he's too busy to talk to customers" was the response. The fact is - These guys are liars and cheats and should not be dealt with!! You can build a pretty dealership and hang all kinds a catchy phrases on the wall, but at the end of day you had better be trustworthy! MY AUTO IMPORT is AWEFUL and should NOT be dealt with. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else or you will regret it. More

I have constantly had issues with this dealership. Consistency in poor service is the only thing they seem to be able to get correct. I left a message with my name and number and never heard back. I guess they do not wish to have my business, which is fine they are 10% higher in prices then other dealerships. I have finally had enough and will do my business either online or with delta audi in Grand rapids. More

I purchased a new Nissan minivan in November (from another Nissan dealer in the area) and wanted to have service done at a Nissan dealership....My Auto Import is closer than the Nissan dealer where I another Nissan dealer in the area) and wanted to have service done at a Nissan dealership....My Auto Import is closer than the Nissan dealer where I bought the minivan. So, on a Monday I scheduled with My Auto Import for a Tuesday oil change package that included oil change, tire rotation and car wash. Took the car in at the scheduled time and they completed the oil change and tire rotation but informed me at checkout that the "car wash person" was out so they hadn’t been able to wash my car……but I could come back anytime for a free car wash. My Auto Import is 10 to 15 miles away from my home and not on any routes I travel frequently so I emailed the service manager that night, explained the situation and just asked that they credit the car wash portion of the package back to my credit card because making a separate trip for a car wash wasn't convenient. In short, they did respond after a few days and they did offer me a small credit...but the reply they sent me and the credit they offered clearly communicated to me that they weren't really bothered by the fact that they sold me a service that they didn't deliver on ……and, when I brought it to their attention their approach was to do the bare minimum to make it go away. No major crimes here, just an apathetic Nissan dealership that did not deliver on the service they offered and, in follow up, was not interested in doing much of anything to ensure the satisfaction of a new Nissan owner.
