There for an oil change on 2024 Ascent. Dealership seems to be find any reason to generate money. Went in for free oil change, they said we had to get an oil additive for $20. Had a previous problem with my battery having a dead cel on a less than two year old car, 1,200 miles over the warranty 36,000 miles. They did not tell us we were out of warranty until we lost 3+ hours waiting for an analysis of the battery when they thought it was a battery problem at the outset. Then they wanted over $400 dollars for new battery when it was obviously defective. We sent a letter to the dealership manager asking for them to stand behind the product and have had no response after two weeks. I loved my shopping and buying experience. Service, not so much. I felt like my sales person spent a generous amount of time with me. Big selling points were free oil changes for life, on to Service, not so much. I felt like my sales person spent a generous amount of time with me. Big selling points were free oil changes for life, on top of giving me a lot of info about the car. I also appreciated Andrew's friendly manner. However, I do not feel that way about the service department. At one year of owning the car, I was told I needed new tires. What? I have been told by two service employees that Subaru sells the car with substandard tires. I did not get the tires. No one mentioned my tires on my next visit, and I was told the previous technician probably didn't know what they were doing and was most likely no longer there. I was also told I needed filters that were barely used looking, I didn't get them, and on a subsequent visit no one mentioned the filters. I received and email while I was at the dealership that I had needs on my car that needed attention. I had to approach the service desk to ask what, because the service people were in a meeting. It was two different opitional fluids. I asked what benefit they were to use. I was told I could get them or not, they were just like a little treat for my car. Again, What? I do not have confidence in the technicians, and feel that they are trying to "upsell". More

My service was delivered fast and professional and most of all Colton went over everything they did! More
