Extremely Disappointing and Misleading Experience I found a used car advertised on Cars.com for $20,000, which was within my budget. Before visiting the dealership, I called to confirm that the vehicle found a used car advertised on Cars.com for $20,000, which was within my budget. Before visiting the dealership, I called to confirm that the vehicle was available at that price. They confirmed it was, and we scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, I identified the vehicle to the salesman by its advertised price of $20,000. He knew exactly which car I was interested in and proceeded to show it to me. We spent approximately an hour and a half discussing the vehicle and negotiating with the salesman. Then, when it came time to discuss the price, I was suddenly told that the advertised price was a mistake. The actual price they wanted was over $6,000 more than the advertised price! The salesman claimed that the price on Cars.com was incorrect, suggesting that either I had looked at the wrong price or that someone had entered it incorrectly. I checked the listing again, and it still clearly showed $20,000. I find this behavior extremely misleading and unprofessional. I had specifically called ahead to confirm the price, made an appointment, and spent an hour and a half of my time at the dealership, only to be told that the advertised price was supposedly a mistake. This experience felt dishonest and showed a complete lack of respect for my time as a customer. A dealership should be transparent about its pricing and should not allow customers to invest significant time in a purchase based on a price it later claims was incorrect. I left extremely disappointed and would caution other potential buyers to be careful when dealing with this dealership. More
