Got quoted a price for a key reprogramming (and had some in-warranty work done as well). I confirmed the price prior to handing over the car. The work was done fine, but then discovered only after it was done that I was being charged an extra $22 on top of my quoted price for "supplies" for the key (even though I brought in my own fob). It's a digital reprogramming, there's zero chance Autel charges anything like that for their equipment. This was conveniently JUST under the 10% upcharge that they would be legally required to get my consent for, so pretty obvious they're doing it because they can. When asked I got the equivalent of a shrug and that was that. I've also gotten 4 requests for feedback, but when I actually shared this feedback, the person on the line giggled and did not offer any response or attempt to make it right. Came in for my first maintenance with our new Hyundai. Sandra took care of me and was welcoming, helpful, and communicated all updates. I was in and out in about an hour, way faster than expected. I test drove a 2022 Tucson. Test drive went fine. After, the salesperson pressured me to purchase many add on packages, such a rustproofing, insurance for car theft, fabric care Test drive went fine. After, the salesperson pressured me to purchase many add on packages, such a rustproofing, insurance for car theft, fabric care, lost key insurance, etc. He was upset when I declined all of this. I told him and his manager I wanted to sleep on it before signing anything. They were pretty condescending, and upset that I was leaving. The manager asked what it would take for me to buy right now. I told him I would buy it then with a $1,000 discount. He agreed, and we SHOOK HANDS. They had me RING A BELL, and the whole office cheered for us. The salesperson then found me and told me they COULD NOT HONOR OUR DEAL with 1,000 off. He told me it was just too cheap, and BLAMED ME for not buying their optional packages. I cannot recommend this dealership, as I frankly left fee DISRESPECTED, and that they were NOT HONEST with me. More
