Lack of knowledge of own vehicles This is an honest review. It is not to stop you from making a purchasing from Napleton’s River Oaks Hyundai, but it is to warn you. If you’re like me, This is an honest review. It is not to stop you from making a purchasing from Napleton’s River Oaks Hyundai, but it is to warn you. If you’re like me, you look at reviews to see what you are getting yourself into. Napleton River Oaks Hyundai had a 4+ star review, so I decided to give them a shot. Upon my purchases, I now know why they have such great reviews. After the sale was complete, a manager came up to me and asked for a big favor. He as me to write a good review about them. He asked to see my phone and typed in their dealer's name into the web browser and watched me as I wrote the review. Napleton River Oaks Hyundai has taught me two great life lessons. 1. To never do business with a Napleton dealer and 2. To never purchase another Hyundai. During my purchase of a 2017 Santa Fe, they showed me the vehicle Carfax and told me that they did a full inspection of the vehicle and did a 30k tune up to it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they were a Hyundai dealer, selling me a Hyundai. I drove the car off the lot and onto the highway and it felt like the tire was going to fall off. There was so much vibration and wobbling to the wheels it sounded like I was in an airplane. I regretted trading in my 13-year-old Honda. I thought maybe the lug nuts were loose on the wheel, so I decided to check and to my luck, the jack tools were missing from the car. With my wife and my baby in the car, I decided to drive the car home and leave it there. 2 week later after taking in multiple time for servicing at a different Hyundai and auto shop. The car needed a new wheel bearing, new brakes, and all new tires. That’s just what was done now, who knows if there are more. I was told by another mechanic that these are things that you do not miss, and unsure how they were missed. Now, I’m stuck with a vehicle that I was promised was a great car for my family, that I’m trying to get rid off after two weeks of ownership. Not only to mention the money I’m already having to invest in it just to get it to drive right. Leaving a message to the owner does nothing. He will not call back. The salespeople will text and call you before the sale, but will not return a call after the purchase. So, if you are planning to go to Napleton River Oaks Hyundai/Kia, beware and make bring a mechanic because they clearly do not know the vehicles that they sell. More
