I purchased a used truck from these people (I use that term loosely and charitably) October 2023. Everything about this sale made me feel slimy. As we were doing the paperwork, they kept coming up wit term loosely and charitably) October 2023. Everything about this sale made me feel slimy. As we were doing the paperwork, they kept coming up with fees (like the theft protection thing) that they said were already done to the vehicle, so I had to buy them, but then the paperwork would make it seem voluntary, like I had an option. They came out with paperwork for me to sign that said 8% interest on the loan, then when the final documents came out, it was at 10%. They said the 8% number, that I attached my signature to, was "just an example!" Totally misleading. During the test drive, the truck had a vibration to it that the salesman wrote off to "stiffer truck suspension." I made the mistake of trusting him, because it got worse. A couple of months after I bought the truck, I brought it to a mechanic who showed me the transmission fluid, which was "burnt and filled with particles." They told me it probably needed a new transmission. I brought the truck to a transmission rebuild specialist, who agreed it needed a new transmission, and that given how bad the fluid was, and the hesitations and vibrations he was feeling, there was no way the sellers could have missed the problems. He was confident that it was impossible that the fluid was fine a few months before, and that the problems started after I bought the truck. Of course, Newberg Chevrolet had paperwork that made it seem that all their inspections were fine, and that when they checked the fluid and the driving, it was fine. Not according to a 40 year transmission expert in Eugene. I ended up having to pay for a rebuilt transmission, $4700, just a few months after I bought the truck. All the people I talked to about this situation seemed confident that since this was a dealership, they would at least help out somewhat, on a vehicle that needed major repair when they sold it to me as working fine. Nope. Not a dime. STAY AWAY FROM NEWBERG CHEVROLET IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE LIKE MINE!! More
I've been a customer for 20 years. Never felt more disrespect or lack of communication than today. Extremely disappointed. Bring back service minded employees. disrespect or lack of communication than today. Extremely disappointed. Bring back service minded employees. More

Having recently retired, we decided to trade in our two cars and purchase one for both of us. Not only did Newberg Chevrolet give us above Kelly Blue Book value on the trade-ins, salesperson Doug really li cars and purchase one for both of us. Not only did Newberg Chevrolet give us above Kelly Blue Book value on the trade-ins, salesperson Doug really listened to our needs and helped steer us to a vehicle that met every one. Finance person Andrew made a pile of paperwork float by in record time and we were off in our new 2020 Blazer. I even mentioned to a manager, Mike, what a pleasure it was to work with such an extraordinary team of knowledgeable people. We’ve purchased many cars through the years but have never had such a pleasant experience as we did at Newberg Chevrolet. More

Money Grab I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 from Newberg Chevy. Everything was ok. The sales team was a little agressive but that is understandable. The prob I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 from Newberg Chevy. Everything was ok. The sales team was a little agressive but that is understandable. The problem is two fold. First issue was the sales manager sold me a prepaid maintenance package. The way it was described was all factory maintenance for the first 8 visit past the 2 free ones from Chevy. The cost was $895. Well a few visits later I go to use it and it is only tire rotations and oil changes. Well oil change and tire rotation is $60 at this dealer so 8 of them would be $480. Not nearly the bargain the sales manager said it was. So due to these deceptive practices I was ripped off for $415 dollars. Second problem is I have had a driver side seat issue for a while now and I have taken it in for repair 3 times. They still have not fixed it correctly. It is still bent. More
Purchase Shane Breier greeted us promptly when we arrived. As he was a new employee, however, he turned us over to Mickael Jeffers, who was very helpful & know Shane Breier greeted us promptly when we arrived. As he was a new employee, however, he turned us over to Mickael Jeffers, who was very helpful & knowledgeable and made the process go smoothly. Tavis, in finance, handled the paperwork efficiently. Our concern now is that the vehicle, a Ford C-Max, is pretty complicated to figure out. It’s a hybrid/gas car with way more electronic systems than we are used to. I’m thinking we bought way more than we needed or wanted. That’s our fault and nothing against the sales staff. We would definitely recommend this company but would certainly suggest buyers do more homework before making such a purchase. More
No Disclosure of Repared Damage on $70k Truck Bought a new $70k (before incentives) pickup. It was raining throughout the day (truck wet) when purchased. Weather finally warmed up and cleared eno Bought a new $70k (before incentives) pickup. It was raining throughout the day (truck wet) when purchased. Weather finally warmed up and cleared enough for me to wash/wax my "new" pickup. Once clean I quickly discovered a fender had been repainted (and done poorly at that). Also, front bumper is crooked. Salesperson claimed he did not know this when contacted. So at this point, I do not know the extent of damage to this "new" vehicle. Salesperson passed it on to the sales manager. Despite being told he would contact me, he did not (not surprised). So, I'll report to our state AG as a possible violation(s) of ORS 650.155. Since "Diminished Value Based On Observable Repairs" seems to run about 10%, plus cost to get the fender fixed properly (and ?) it looks like my only option is to suie them. Newberg could have easily avoided this (getting me a different vehicle or, in the alternate, coming to a reasonable financial accomodation). Great way to insure we will never buy a vehicle from Newberg again. More
