I would give -5, if possible. On 8/12, my Grand Wagoneer's air suspension gave out, 6 hrs from home, while towing my RV. Wagoneer had my car towed to them for repairs. They didn't On 8/12, my Grand Wagoneer's air suspension gave out, 6 hrs from home, while towing my RV. Wagoneer had my car towed to them for repairs. They didn't call till AFTER business hrs(Fri), to say they didn't have a loaner leaving me stranded. 8/13 they called to tell me it had 16 additional codes on it. I asked them to keep me posted. 8/17 they called to tell me my axle was damaged, and verify the information on my trailer, to ensure I wasn't over payload (I wasn't) to get the repair covered under warranty. When Wagoneer called to tell me it was fine & on order, I called this place back asking about the other items. I requested, SEVERAL times, for info about what all was going on with the car, exactly - I wanted to know what happened to the system, axle, 16 codes, what those were, if they were known issues/recalls & what was being done about them. I kept hearing "I can't get that for you," then being put through to a VM of the person who supposedly could, though I'd never get a response. The staff seemed really weird about giving me any info, at all, about MY OWN CAR, acting like it was a HIPAA violation. After getting nowhere with anyone in service, it took me eventually winding up on the line, by accident, with someone who was like "I will personally walk over and make him answer, cause that's not okay," for Scott ("service" manager) to answer me, and even then, he didn't get anything over to me. I knew something shady was going on, back then. 9/1 I finally get an email that they got the new axel in, but that they wouldn't be getting to it til the following week, and then FINALLY provided me with an invoice (but it only had the suspension stuff, no codes). 9/13 I FINALLY get the call that it was ready - ONE FULL MONTH to repair my car. I told them that Wagoneer had said they would ship it back to me, for all the trouble, so they said they'd get on it/get right back to me. When they made the call to Wagoneer, they must've been told of my in-process Lemon Law case, after Wagoneer refused to handle it privately. Once that discovery was made, the extreme lack of communication was back with a vengeance. This time it wasn't what was wrong with my car that they couldn't tell me, it was more of me being made to feel like I wasn't privy to knowing how, if EVER, I'd be getting my car back... so much so that, when I tried to just arrange to get it myself, they avoided me and made me feel like I couldn't. My car eventually appeared, on 10/13 (EXACTLY ONE FULL MONTH LATER), at my local dealership. It had IMMEDIATE codes, upon turning it on, was damaged, had a flat tire, was covered in the THICKEST layer of dust (like it had been sitting on a dirt road for the last 2 months), the inside was filthy, and smelled like cigarette smoke. I noticed they had the repair invoice included with the vehicle, so I went to scan it into my file. It was identical to the 9/1 one yet stated that they discovered I was towing without a trailer brake controller and, when they asked me about it, I stated that the dealership I bought it from told me I didn't need one! I was PISSED. Not only did that conversation NEVER happen, but I ABSOLUTELY was towing with a controller. Because the car wasn't EQUIPPED with a stock controller, and it was too new to get a hard-wired aftermarket one, I had purchased a plug&play wireless BT controller, which I had with me/my RV. I asked them to remove their lie from the invoice, to which they refused (but wouldn't defend their actions, either). I guess they must not remember already giving me the first invoice that was missing their lie given AFTER approval, that I have EVERYTHING documented (including date/text asking about the trailer, my receipt for my brake controller 1wk after I bought my car). They were banking on me being just another "dumb girl." I've been towing longer than they've known what a trailer brake control is, and dealing with shady people even longer. Not my first rodeo. Stay FAR away! More
The Service Dept. had my truck for months. They never did get it fixed completely, but got it going well enough to get back on the road. Oh, and it cost twice as much had my truck for months. They never did get it fixed completely, but got it going well enough to get back on the road. Oh, and it cost twice as much as they said it would. They broke my already old and cracked dash board so badly I can't repair it now. Instead I have to replace it at double the cost. The only reason they get two stars instead of zero, is the office staff was trying to get things moving for me and were very embarrassed about how I was treated. In short, the mechanics assigned to my truck would run into a problem repairing my truck, order new parts, and took their time putting my truck back in the repair schedule. This happened three times for the same brake repair. I will not be going back ever. More
Got my truck repaired with Newberg CJD after the transmission got stuck in 4th gear. It was fixed under warranty. I would have appreciated better communication between the dealership and myself abou transmission got stuck in 4th gear. It was fixed under warranty. I would have appreciated better communication between the dealership and myself about the status of the repairs (though I initially brought it to the Beaverton Honda store where I bought it, so I understand that relaying info back and forth can be difficult), however everyone I worked with was kind and professional. Other than the lack of communication, I have no complaints. More
