Merry MINI Christmas! I went to the Nissan dealership to test drive a Kicks because, after adopting a second Rhodesian Ridgeback in August, I needed a car with cargo space. I went to the Nissan dealership to test drive a Kicks because, after adopting a second Rhodesian Ridgeback in August, I needed a car with cargo space. Much as I loved it, my Fiat 500 did not have room for two large dogs, LOL! While there, I spotted the red Mini Cooper Paceman on the used car lot and fell in love with it. I didn't think it would be practical but, actually, it had everything I needed and wanted ... A low entry for my older dog, a reasonable cargo area, adequate concealed storage below the cargo floor, excellent fuel economy and heated seats. It was essentially a one owner car, as the couple had leased it, then bought it. It was obvious they had loved the car and taken superb care of it but, after the birth of twin Suns, they needed a larger vehicle, just as I did. It took a month of negotiating before we came to a price that worked for all of us but, on December 20th, I traded my beloved 2012 Fiat 500 for this 2015 Mini Cooper Paceman. Minnie Pearl drives like a dream and I'm really enjoying my Christmas gift to the dogs! More
