My wife and I purchased a used 2020 GMC Acadia on 12/6/20 from Nissan of Bradenton. The vehicle has been good so far. No issues, and no reason to expect any. Part of the reason for that was that they were dealing with extraordinary circumstances regarding their computers, and were truly doing the best that they could. No problems there. The Good- Everyone was friendly, even those that weren’t helping us. No pressure during the sales process from Joshua. Additional maintenance packages and extended warranties were offered, but again, no pressure to purchase. That is always very appreciated. The Bad- In the four hours that we were there it was never mentioned that the vehicle only came with one key until I asked for it as were preparing to leave. At that point, it was late on Sunday, after hours, and Joshua told us there was nothing that could be done at that time. Had I known there was only one key, I would have signed nothing unless another key was included. The next day, I called and spoke with Jim Carroll, the used car sales manager, and told him that I was unhappy with the situation. He stated that he wanted me to be happy, and that he wanted me to be able to say that I was taken care of at their dealership, that it would be made right. He confirmed my phone number and said he would see that I was contacted to set up a time for a new key. I appreciated that, and took him at his word. It’s been seven days. I was never contacted. Nissan of Bradenton may meet “industry standards”, but they fall short in achieving the high standards that they’ve chosen as their own. Every customer wants a spare key for their vehicle. It’s basic common sense. Not mentioning the missing key may not technically be dishonest since used cars only require one key to be sold, but omitting facts isn’t exactly honest either. Not disclosing the missing key demonstrates a lack of respect, integrity, and empathy. As a customer, I’m not pleased to spend over $30k on a vehicle, only to find out after the deal is complete that I’ll now have to spend hundreds of dollars more on a spare key, not to mention the time and effort to make it happen. This is hardly a disaster of epic proportions, but it’s frustrating enough that I really wish I’d taken my business elsewhere. More

When it comes to getting an oil change we have many choices of places to go to. I prefer to go with Dustin Stevens at the service department at Nissan of Bradenton because I am always treated like fami choices of places to go to.
