After a recent breakdown in the Clearwater area I had my car towed to Nissan of Clearwater. I was visiting from Canada so this was my first time at the dealership. In particular, I would like to compliment Ryan Walters. In my opinion, he did an exceptional job which made a stressful breakdown a little less stressful. When I am back in the area, I look forward to bringing my Nissan in for regular maintenance. More
Buyer beware! Advertised prices mean nothing. You will be presented with a significant price increase when you attempt to purchase a vehicle. On 3/2/2022 we spent Advertised prices mean nothing. You will be presented with a significant price increase when you attempt to purchase a vehicle. On 3/2/2022 we spent 2 hours looking at a Jeep Wrangler. The advertised price was increased by $2,000 as soon as we arrived. The increase was for nitrogen in the tires, paint protection, headlight clean/protection, interior cleaning/protection, locking wheel lug nuts (which are already included when the Jeep is sold new), 90-day accident plan (I already have insurance), etc., etc. I told Brandon the salesperson before we sat down to talk numbers that we had our own financing from our credit union and would not be paying the $2,000 in extra bogus fees. I clearly stated to him that if a ton of extra fees are added we will be finished before we start. He said he would get us the best price possible. Well after we sat down he comes over with the sale price.....almost $39,000 from a sale price of $32,500. A $6,500 increase, of which about $2,200 was state tax and $388 in fees to the state. That is roughly $2,600 in fees to the state. The remaining $3,900 was dealer fees! We told Brandon that we were not interested unless he could sell the vehicle for THE ADVERTISED PRICE and attempted to leave. He did the typical let me get my manager BS and they chased us out the door. Dealers like to try and beat you down mentally by keeping you in the dealership speaking to multiple people going back and forth until you give in. If you cannot sell the vehicle at the advertised price because "we are going to lose money at that price" then I suggest you adjust your price before you advertise. Otherwise, you are wasting people's time with hidden fees and inflated prices. More

My aunt had been talking to Sam since January. She was waiting for me to come and assist with the transaction. Today we came into the dealership to buyout the car. My aunt is elderly and not very trusting of businesses especially. She needed assurance that she was not being cheated. Sam and the team were very patient with her and answered all of her concerns as best they could. After having to call Nissan Financial and being reassured that the dealership was not just trying to take her money, the car was purchased and she even purchased a warranty plan. She was very content to eat free chips,drink coffee and talk about the old days to whoever would listen. To top that, she was even given a gift!!! That made her day. Of course during the ride home, she had to be reassured that she was not cheated and had made the right decision!!! Currently she's happy, that's the most important thing!! My trip from New York to assist her was worth it!! She's happy that she now owns the car outright and "she's going to get 2 FREE car washes a year." Thanks for your patience!! More
