Exasperating, aggravating, and inexcusable. First, when it came time to schedule our new car into the Service Department for the simplest of things (our spare key which for some reason was an in First, when it came time to schedule our new car into the Service Department for the simplest of things (our spare key which for some reason was an insurmountable problem to provide when they released the new car to us in December) we were still fresh from one of the most nerve-racking sales experiences we’ve ever had when buying our new NISSAN from this dealership in December. During that 16-hour sales “marathon” where many promises & commitments were made time-wise and not kept, combined with the fact that we live in another town and it’s not convenient to drive back & forth to this dealership if they were unprepared and they were going to continue to waste our time, we swore to ourselves that from then on anytime we had to take the car in for any reason we would communicate directly with a FUCCILLO Manager and get assurance that the dealership was prepared for the appointment and our time would not be wasted. I had that call on Thursday, 1/17/2019, talked to a manager about scheduling the car in so we could get our spare key but I insisted that he confirm with the Service Department that it could be handled on this trip with no wasted time. He returned my call in a few minutes and confirmed that he spoke with his service dept. and they assured him that there would be no problem and they should have my wife in and out of there in 15-30 minutes so we set the appointment for 10:00 AM on Friday, the following day. My wife had the car there at her appointment time. After 30-40 minutes of sitting in the customer lounge a service guy came in, apologized and said they were “experiencing complications” with being able to provide a spare key. Further he had no idea when they would be able to provide the key (something was on back-order) so she would have to leave and come back at another time. I could understand this sort of reaction and inability to satisfy our needs had we just showed up by surprise. But in this case where we communicated with a Manager 24-hours in advance who assured us he was told by their service department there would be no problem as far as I’m concerned there’s no excuse. However as I mentioned above this experience did match several incidents that occurred during our sales experience where certain timelines were promised and never met. If this is some sort of Tolerance Test being conducted by FUCCILLO to assess people’s patience for wasting their time please understand that we are at the end of ours. More
