People are often quick to file a complaint but do not take the time to recognize a job well done. On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, I came into Nissan to have my 15,000 miles serviced done (on a 2017 Nissan Maxima) and Mr. Jason Smith went far and beyond to grant me not only the best service and customer service but the best price. Mr. Smith explained to me how customers can receive and use coupons from Nissan. Mr. Smith had the best personality and understood my job as a middle school teacher and that saving every penny counts. Mr. Jason Smith’s uniform was outstanding, he was courteous, took time to explain all my car service concerns. Great Service from someone who was stranded. We are from out of town and the transmission went out. Luckily, we were able to get the vehicle to Nissan of Gadsden and they did a great job working We are from out of town and the transmission went out. Luckily, we were able to get the vehicle to Nissan of Gadsden and they did a great job working with us and repairing the vehicle. Below is an email I sent to the service manager: Hi James, Thank you for the email. I just wanted to let you know that we had a great experience with your service department. Jason Smith was very kind, patient, and helpful, working with us on our repair. We are from Marietta, GA and our daughter and her boyfriend were headed to Horsepens 40 to go climbing and camping on a Saturday evening. The transmission failed and left them stranded just one mile from their campsite. After spending two hours on the side of the road, they were finally able to get a wrecker service to come and take her Xterra to your dealership. We drove the 2-1/2 hours from Marietta to the dealership and picked them up. The after-hours cleaning crew that was there was also very nice and understanding while we off-loaded the vehicle into a parking spot. I talked to Jason the next Monday, took a few days to decide whether I wanted to spend the money on such an old vehicle (2006 with 146,000 miles), and agreed to get the work done on Wednesday. The work was completed by Friday! That is an amazing turn-around time. We spent last Saturday retrieving the Xterra, enjoying seeing the beautiful countryside of east Alabama, and had a great lunch at Pruett's, next door. This was recommended by one of your service guys, and he was spot-on with the recommendation. Your dealership and everyone we encountered in Gadsden, from Tommy the wrecker service guy to the people at Waffle House when we got coffee at 11:00 pm after dropping off the Xterra, were great! I appreciate your part in making what was a bad situation turn into a fond memory. More
