I have had a discussion with the NC DMV office & was assured my complaint was not the first. UPDATE 06/26/2025 This entire business is riddled with incompetence & dishonesty from owners Terrell Skelton & Dawud Muhammad - to the clerks & ESPECIALLY - Marcel Theanus & Tshombe Demby in the finance department. Sherry Radspinner is sweet on the phone but as deceiving as the rest of them. We were scammed into finance add-ons so we immediately refinanced & the dealership owes us an immediate refund for the GAP insurance & theft protection - which Marcel boldly misrepresented as included but the finance institution confirmed in writing it wasn't. We have asked for as many as 10 call backs and Tshombe promises to but never does - trust nothing from this man's mouth. I expect the refund won't happen. Our next move is a conversation with the NC DMV & NC Department of Commerce concerning unlawful & deceitful business practices. ORIGINAL Devin & the sales team - five stars! Sales managers - five stars! Jazmine - five stars! Marcel - no words & no rating low enough. We ultimately bought a 2024 Platinum Pathfinder after almost two hours of enduring condescending & shady negotiations. Marcel added $12K to our original deal, telling us if we wanted to buy the car, because the dealership was losing SO much money on the deal, we really had no choice but to pay for all the backend add-ons or the 'owner' just wouldn't sign off on the deal. He blamed the huge difference between the deal sheet & proposed finance contract on the lack of experience of the sales manager. And yet - Jazmine had to show him how to operate the finance system. She should be promoted. We have bought dozens of cars - some great experiences - some not so great. THIS was the most horrific finance experience we have ever had. We are 840+ credit scores so we had options. In fact, upon receiving the contract from the lender, we found an add-on that was slid in on us that we are working to try and remove. Marcel has promised now for days he would send us the forms to get that done but as expected - more deceit - no email as promised. UPDATE - we just refinanced with another lender.
