My sales person Ken at Clay Cooley made my experience less than pleasant. The deceitfulness of his actions are beyond a nightmare. I test drove and chose a 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek with the tech pack less than pleasant. The deceitfulness of his actions are beyond a nightmare. I test drove and chose a 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek with the tech package. Several times my husband had to remind them that I was the person they should be addressing and negotiating with, can you say sexist? Ken insisted that he could not remove the Clay Cooley free services, that tacked on $1495 to the loan. I was adamant that I not pay for a free service. I finally come to an agreement on what I was ok with in payment and purchase price, I took a picture of the write up I agreed to. While we were signing papers with the finance guy (Bob, great guy!) Ken was having the car detailed and filled up with gas, 2 days later I took my car to the service center because I couldn’t get my tech packages to work. The service center then advised me that the model car I was driving did not have the tech packages that I test drove and negotiated the contract price on. I went inside to discuss this matter with a sales manager. Xris (sales person, great guy) approached me and was so helpful in getting to resolution, Jason (He sits in the box at the front I assume his role is sales manager) was brought in to get the car paperwork back on track. Jason tries to tell me I’m getting a $2k more expensive car for cheaper price, I asked them to show me where this $2k is coming from he claimed the MSRP’s. I asked to see the MSRP’s and there was only an $800 difference. Jason then claims he doesn’t know who told me that there was a $2k difference. I asked for compensation for the stress and frustration that has evolved from Ken’s dishonesty. Jason claims he can only give me 5 year of maintenance for the price of 3 years (what I bought) I asked why my frustration and stress was only worth $300. I ended up signing papers because it has been another 3 hours trying to get the car that I originally negotiated for, I also confirmed the stock number (referring to the picture I took) of the price I agreed on, it in fact did not match the vin # for the wrong car I drove off the lot. Bob called me the next day as the paperwork had to be electronically signed and not papers, so I then said since we are reopening the contract I need to discuss this further. Jason then at this point has become condescending and rude towards me as if I’m the cause of all that has unfolded. Jason then tells me the reason why my car was switched was a warning light came on when the car was taken back for detail. I’m thinking if this is true why didn’t Ken just say that and ask me to look over the car to see if it is what I want. I go to the service center a few days later because I want confirmation if there is in fact something throwing error codes on my car. The service center searched their system and did not have any records showing the car had been looked at for any issues. I would never recommend this dealership and I would especially advise you Ladies out there to channel your inner Forest Gump and run far, far away, these people are shadier than your Grandma’s favorite oak tree.
