This was my first car purchase. So it really meant a lot to me. I must admit, it wasn’t exactly what I envisioned and there were a few hiccups, but overall, I am very happy with my vehicle. I went in on a S to me. I must admit, it wasn’t exactly what I envisioned and there were a few hiccups, but overall, I am very happy with my vehicle. I went in on a Saturday to buy my car. It was a busy afternoon, the lot was buzzing. Therefore, I did not feel a particularly warm welcome, but I understood, everyone was busy so whatever. My salesperson turned out to be very nice so that was sufficient for me. After nearly 6 hours at the buyers table, I ended up signing for a Certified Pre-Owned 2019 Nissan Altima that was not in the inventory at Nissan Lithia Springs. Therefore the car needed to be transferred. The dealership gave me a loaner vehicle for the day and sent me on my way. A couple of days later, I was informed that my car was available for pick up. Absolutely elated, I left work early and told the dealership I would be there between 4-5pm. I arrived around 4:30, and was told my car was being detailed and would be another 10-15 minutes or so. Maybe 30 minutes passed, and I was then told that the car they were detailing was not actually mine, and that mine was in line to be serviced soon... It ended up being over a 2 hour wait. I did not leave until after 7pm. I was frustrated because I had told the dealer what time to I would be there, with the expectation that everything would be ready for me by the time I arrived. But that was not the case. Thankfully, the Owner Loyalty Manager, Andrew Shaw, was phenomenal and came out to apologize to me personally and compensated me for the wait by offering me two free tanks of gas and a free oil change. I appreciated this gesture. All was well... so I thought. When my car was finally ready, my salesperson came and got me, walked me out to my car, opened the back door and gestured for me to put my things in the back, and then opened my front door and helped me in, adjusted my seat, and basically sent me on my merry way. By that point I was tired and hungry and ready to go home, so I didn’t think anything of it. I was just happy to finally have my car. But when I got home and finally walked around it to take a good look at it, it had several noticeable scrapes and scratches on the hood, bumper and passenger door! It literally looked like someone had keyed my car! I was HEATED!!! I felt like that was why my salesperson rushed me off, to avoid me walking around the car and seeing it while I was there. Again, this is my first car purchase. I had gone to a used dealer the day before who had the same car and offered it to me for less, but I ended up turning down that offer and settling on this one for the sole reason that it was Nissan Certified. Needless to say, this was NOT what I expected from a Nissan Certified pre-owned vehicle. Again, Andrew saved the day. I called him and expressed my frustrations and he immediately set up an appointment for me to come and have the paint guy take a look at it. I was offered another loaner for a few days while they fixed it, and now, she looks good as new. All that to say, my experience overall was just that... an experience! But I appreciate the fact that management ultimately took care of me and made it right. I love my Altima so far! More
My service contact Curtis was one of the most knowledgeable and nicest guys to deal with.
