I received one of the best experiences at Nissan Lithia Springs. Asia and Trey were very helpful and insightful. Asia did not pressure into making my purchase. I came to the dealership to see what type of value they would offer for my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan in Mint Condition with no dings, scratches, maintenance issues, full maintenance records, and spotless inte would offer for my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan in Mint Condition with no dings, scratches, maintenance issues, full maintenance records, and spotless interior. They had an internet ad that stated you could receive up to $4000 over KBB value for your vehicle just simply selling it to them without having to purchase an additional vehicle from them. The first individual I interacted with was Jaye, the salesperson who was respectful and kind. However, the entire experience went downhill from there. Ram Torfeh, an Internet Sales Manager, came to me and offered me 18,000. The KBB value showed $19,600 minimum as the value of my vehicle. So they came in below KBB value, which stunned me at first especially since I was expecting to come in near the $4000 over KBB as advertised that the dealership was offering. However, Ram must think I am unintelligent when he said KBB value of your car is $18000, and he kept pointing at the paperwork. The paper clearly said Black Book Value. Anyone who knows anything knows that KBB is a registered trademark specific to Kelley Blue Book and Black Book is a separate entity that dealers use. The ad that Destiny Sims, another internet sales manager had written, clearly said $4000 above KBB. Ram kept explaining to me that “you aren’t buying a car from us“ so this doesn’t count, still referring to the $18000 number (which, again isn’t KBB) and I told him the Internet ad specifically says “Even if you don’t buy from us we will pay off your loan NO MATTER HOW MUCH is owed” He disregarded my comment about his own ad, which by the way their sales person Jaye knew nothing about because they don’t even tell them how they are baiting customers to come to the dealership, and went over to “see what he can do.” At that point he came back and said “$18000” is it, that’s all I can offer and I just explained that I didn’t understand why they would so dishonestly advertise. As soon as I said that, albeit in an extremely calm voice, Adrian Bryant, a Sales Manager, walked to me and said “you are being loud” “you can go to carmax across the street.” This was by far the rudest and most unprofessional as well as disrespectful comment I have ever received from an individual who is supposed to be working in customer service. I was never loud or rude and I was a prospective customer just as anyone else in there. I work for a major Fortune 500 corporation in the commercial offices and I have worked customer service and never seen the level of disrespect and rudeness that Adrian displayed by talking down to me like I am a child. It is clear that this dealership is extremely dishonest and not about serving the customer. They violate the Nissan customer promise that is displayed in their own lobby that said “Nissan promises to market products and service honestly” I do not ever recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership as their dishonesty will get you into a bad situation. It was a standard bait tactic to get you there and then try to assume that the customer isn’t knowledgeable about the process in order to take advantage of them. Shame on this dealership, I will be reaching out to Nissan’s corporate offices. More
