The customer service lady was nice but overall this is third time I’m not happy with service and then being thorough with my car. My service and I had to buy a new battery in a year later when I come in they’re able to pull up the old account that they couldn’t pull up last year so it was very disappointing and I feel like I can’t trust Thornton Rd. The Lithia Springs Nissan is heads and tails above the Union City location. Brennon Nichols is professional and kind. Union City is awful! This is my 4th Nissan but I don’t think I’ll be buying another Nissan. My transmission was replace then went out again after a year and a half and Nissan refuse to cover it because it’s pass their 1 year another Nissan. I would give this service department Negative 5 Stars if possible. I have been coming to Nissan of Lithia Springs for about 18 months for vehicle servicing. The last time I was there for service was 13 May 2021 and things went as smooth as a Swiss watch. A week later 20 May unfortunately I found out that my regular service representative, Fred (who is awesome), was not in that day and what a difference a week and loss of a great service rep makes! I took my car in at 9:30 a.m. for service I scheduled a week earlier (check for water leaks in the back seat and trunk). I was told by the service rep filling in for Fred that the job would take 6 hours which was far longer than I anticipated. I told her that I would need a ride home from the courtesy shuttle. She said that she would get back with me in 5 to 10 minutes and sent me to the customer waiting area. After waiting an hour and a half I had to go track her down to find out when they were going to give me a ride (I was forgotten). They finally got the driver to come back after I had waited nearly two hours. I then had to go with the driver to pick somebody else up and bring them right back to the same service department that I left 20 minutes earlier. Then I got a ride back home. Complete waste of my time. I received a call (5:45 pm) 15 minutes before they closed to let me know what they found. The diagnostic made no sense given the symptoms. I asked for them to come pick me up so I can get my car. I was told to shuttle service ended at 3 pm. It would have been real nice if they had communicated that with me since I obviously had no ride back. A better move would have been to call me at 2 p.m. to let me know the status and determine whether I wanted to come up and wait or come in the next day. The next day I picked up the car and was told they would have an "expert" to look at my car. The manager (Ron) was supposed to call me back but it's now 7 days later and I haven't heard a word from him or anyone from the service department. No follow-through. Basically I've been forgotten...Again. This is not the way to get repeat customers! From now on I'll only work with Fred. Frankly HE should manage the service department. It would run a lot smoother!
