I went to the service department (per direction of Jesus) for some scratches to be removed on a Rogue that I bought on 2/7/23. The service employee was rude when I told him why I was there. I’ve given up on this dealer. Every time I’ve come in it’s been a mess. No one greets you or helps. This time I came in at 4:30 for a repair, expecting I’d have to leave the car. Every time I’ve come in it’s been a mess. No one greets you or helps. This time I came in at 4:30 for a repair, expecting I’d have to leave the car. I stood around for ten minutes and no one came out. So I went inside and was coldly told by Paloma to go back to my car and wait. I waited 30 minutes before going back in to see what was going on where she then proceeded to yell across the floor to someone else to help me because she was busy. They then argued over who was going to help me. Finally mandez came out. I began to tell him what was going and what I thought the issue was. My local Mechanic had look at the car earlier that day and said because it was still under warranty I should take it to the dealer. Mandez immediately insulted my mechanic and went on about how he just didn’t want my business (despite the fact Greg has been my mechanic for a decade). He then began in a very condescending tone telling me that it was just my battery and mansplaining to me how a battery works (which by the way, was incorrect). He refused to listen to me when I told him it was not a battery issue, that it was something else. After several minutes of listening to how “in his honest opinion” it was the battery I told him to do a battery check. Imagine my surprise when it showed the battery was fine. Yet he still refused to listen to me and treated me like I was some dumb xxxxx. He never even bothered to look up info on the car. I’ve taken this car a few times to Torrance and have had nothing but issues with them basically not wanting to help me and this was the final straw. I took the car back and sent it to Carson instead. Despite it being another late appointment I was greeted warmly within minutes, the intake person listened to what was going on, actually took the time to look up and see my car was still under warranty, then went to work trying to find the issue. Side note, it wasn’t the battery it was the tranny. Torrance needs to work on their customer service. More

My experience was horrible. Manny was very weird with me from the start, showing me pictures of his mold infect home. I felt lowballed when Manny said I needed a new battery and gave me a price quote. I said let's do it. Then he calls me 10 minutes later telling me it was $100 more. When I came to pick up my car it took well over 30 minutes for the team to locate my car (which was blocked in by another car) and then they could not find the keys for the other car. Unfortunately, I can never come back to Nissan Torrance. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
