My “service engine soon” light came on and I pulled up to the service department within minutes. I was scared of the outcome, as I rely on my car for my 12 hour a day (every day) delivery job to survive. T the service department within minutes. The staff in the service department started off friendly enough, but as they were checking my car for damage, they started making fun of me and my car! I couldn’t believe the level of unprofessionalism! I kind of shrugged it off at the time, as I was too focused on worrying about the actual reason for the engine light coming on, but it really bothered me...especially when employee after employee kept it going. Even the shuttle driver was in on it! Anyway, it was $135 just to check the code for the light, which goes toward any work used to correct the issue. Unfortunately, I don’t feel comfortable going back to this dealership for any repairs, so now I’m out $135 for no reason. As for the actual issue with the car, it turns out that I need a new transmission, which is apparently a big problem in a lot of Nissan models. My car only has 75k miles on it and now I need a new one because the price of a new transmission is more than the car is actually worth! Many Nissan models with this transmission have been recalled, but not mine. That hardly seems fair. I will never purchase a Nissan again and I have already started telling everyone I know not to either, including two friends who were actually considering buying this crap. More

2019 Altima I stopped by Van Nuys Nissan to look at a specific Altima that their website indicated was in inventory. I saw the Altima at the LA car show. I met the salesman, Edgar Gonzalez and he took me right to the car. He gave a very thorough overview of the car’s options and performance and did not have leave any of my questions unanswered. I had informed him that my current lease wasn’t up for 2 months and that I was in research mode. He totally respected that an politely and professionally asked me if I would be at willing to hear what they could do for me on the lease. I gave him some basic parameters. The numbers were in the ballpark but such that I could say no to. Again, without any pressure, he kindly asked if I would be willing to speak to the manager. I said ok. I spoke with Vahan Papazian and he worked the numbers that impressed me. To seal the deal, they worked it out to where they are paying for my last 2 payments on my current lease. All of the numbers seem exceptional to me (Msrp vs the discounted price, and the rebate and kicking in the last 2 payments of my current lease). I’ve gone to several dealers in the last month and none of them seemed interested in selling a car. Their price was as low as they could go but I really didn’t believe them. Vahan earned my trust and I believe he gave me the best deal he could. I feel like I got a beautiful car with almost all the options at a great price More

nissan worker stole my downpayment 4/23/18 I highly recommend NOT making a purchase at this Nissan dealership. I put a down payment of $2,500 dollars in 2014 for a Nissan Sentra. Thi 4/23/18 I highly recommend NOT making a purchase at this Nissan dealership. I put a down payment of $2,500 dollars in 2014 for a Nissan Sentra. This shows that I made a payment on my contract. It is now 2018 and Nissan is harassing me about my down payment of $2,000. This matter hasn’t been resolved I reached out to several people only to find out that the receipt is more important than the contract. I don't have anything but the contract that I made this payment. The person that helped me out with the purchase is no longer working there. I truly feel that someone working there pocket the money. I am appalled that Nissan company doesn't have any paper trail showing that I made this payment. The contract clearly states that I made the payment.This company is unorganized and they will take your money. DON’T waste your time coming here. More
Horrible customer service I have a 2015 and 2017 car from these scammers. My 2015 has the service package. They tell me I only need an oil change every 5k miles. My 2017 does n I have a 2015 and 2017 car from these scammers. My 2015 has the service package. They tell me I only need an oil change every 5k miles. My 2017 does not have the service package so of course they tell me I need an oil change every 3k miles. I wonder if that's because I have to pay for that one. On top of that, my 2017 has a radio that intermittently blacks out for 15 mins or so. I took it in several times and they claimed they couldn't duplicate the problem. One guy told me I needed to record the issue. I recorded the issue and they told me they would order a new part which would take 4 to 8 weeks and that they would call me when the part comes in. This was in December. It is now April and every time I have called someone told me they would call me back. I am now here in person and being told that the part was sent back. The service department tells me its the parts department's responsibility to call the customer. The parts department tells me it's the service department's job. Now I'm sitting waiting for the service manager to show up for work. More
