Nissan Corporate doesnt empower dealerships effectively Guys working are great, but their abilities are stifled by poor Nissan corporate polcies not allowing them to effectively deal with complex situations Guys working are great, but their abilities are stifled by poor Nissan corporate polcies not allowing them to effectively deal with complex situations. Our issue took 8 MONTHS to resolve a simple software upeate and antenna issue. Poor top down policies restricted guys from effectively trouble shooting the issue. An issue that was only truly resolved when Nissan corporate was called by me and threatned with legal action and lemon law pursuit. Wichita Falls Nissan isnt necessarily to blame. I place innefectuve empowerment at the feet of "big" nissan. Additionally restricting the dealership from ensuring lender cars have fuel in them and then having them turned in full of gas without any reciprocal fueling action on our cars once ready, is poor form. Again not shops fault, but, an area for improvement. More

The Lack of Communication I had brought my car in the 18th of May, 2019 in order to figure out why my car wasn’t starting. I was told it would be 2-3 days before it would be lo I had brought my car in the 18th of May, 2019 in order to figure out why my car wasn’t starting. I was told it would be 2-3 days before it would be looked at. Two days later on the 21st, Ryan contacted me and told me i needed a new battery and a new key programmed for the car. I asked to go ahead and start the work on that and was informed a technician would start on it. I called on Friday, the next day, and asked what the status was on the vehicle and was told the technician was still working on it. Later in the day I called back and was told the tech would start working on shortly, after already being told that the work had already begun. Saturday the 23rd I called in the morning and didn’t get a response so I waited until lunch to call again, at this point the service department had closed for the day. I walked up to dealership and talked to Rachad and he promised to call me first thing Monday morning with details about what was going on. I also talked to Mr. King about what purchasing a car would look like and i felt he did a wonderful job of being a salesman, telling you what you wanted, and giving me information which would be useful for a car buyer. Monday comes by and it’s 10am, still haven’t heard anything so I call back and get transferred to him which he doesn’t answer. I leave a voicemail and still haven’t received a call back to this day, March 30th. I also called the service twice that day without any luck of reaching anyone. I decided to just wait and Wednesday I call back again, and sure enough, no answer. It’s not until Thursday the 28th, (my car has now been being “worked on” for over a week,) that I finally get a call from Daniel explaining that the damages done are more than they can repair without ordering new parts. I tell him that I will be unable to afford the repairs and that I will be picking up the car the following day after paying. Doing his job, he interests me in possibly purchasing a car from the dealership, where as I am not old enough to sign a lease or apply for a loan, i inform him that I would be unable to do so. Daniel explains that I could get a car with the help of an adult that is willing to apply for the loan on the car. I told him i was unable to do so and that I would just pick up the car. I thanked him for his time and he told me Ryan would be contacting me with the final price soon. It wasn’t until the next day, Friday the 29th that I heard from Ryan. He was able to lower the originally stated $680 down to the $500, then $462 for repairs. That was one of the only good parts i have experienced during my time of dealing with the Nissan Dealership of Wichita Falls. When I finally got my car to my house i noticed wires had been removed from the places which controlled my audio system in the car, which I had to go in and reconnect, also the front grill had been moved to a position which clearly looked broken and and there was no evidence that the service department had tried to fix it. More
