My car was in the shop for 3 weeks to replace a wheel. Communication is very poor from this dealership. They were supposed to just replace my wheel and use the same tire. But they ended up throwing out the tire accidentally. They had to replace my tpms because they threw the old one out. They sent me a text message my car was completed but luckily I called and when I did they told me about the thrown out tire and the delay to get a new tpms. Saved me an unnecessary 40 minute drive. The garage itself is old and the customer service counter needs a major renovation. The waiting area is a thumbs down too. Genesis is supposed to be a luxury brand trying to compete with Audi, Lexus, BMW and the like but you feel like you are driving a Yugo if you go to this service center. They didn’t even complete a simple mileage reset of when I’m supposed to get my car serviced. They also over inflated the tire they replaced unless the tpms they replaced is inaccurate as it’s 10 psi higher than the other 3 tires. Has always treated me right every time I've had to go there. This is my second Genesis initially had a G80 and stepped it up a level to a G90 and my service at this location is absolutely amazing. I was a little disappointed when I got my car back from being serviced I noticed they did not clean or vacuum inside my G70. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received recently. Upon dropping off my vehicle, I was informed that I would receive an update later that day, which did not occur. Further service I received recently. Upon dropping off my vehicle, I was informed that I would receive an update later that day, which did not occur. Furthermore, I was not initially informed of the 72-hour diagnostic timeframe. Despite my daily attempts to contact the center for two days, I was subsequently informed of the potential 72-hour timeframe, indicating a significant lapse in communication. Additionally, the price breakdown provided during the initial quote differed from the final invoice, creating confusion. Finally, when my vehicle was ready, I was denied the courtesy car service, despite prior instances of this service being provided, necessitating a $40 Lyft ride. Moreover, the promised car wash and detailing were not performed. Consequently, my confidence in Norm Reeves Genesis of Irving has been compromised. The overall experience was unsatisfactory, and I will be seeking alternative repair services. My rating is 2 out of 10, and I do not recommend this service. More
