Like a 21st century car buyer, I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted, but we realized that the ordering window had already closed, so the folks helped me locate one that was scheduled to be built, and commandeered the order for me. They kept me informed throughout the vehicle's journey from factory to showroom floor. They know their car aficionados, and were willing to accommodate my special requests on how I wanted the car delivered - I've had many experiences where dealers drill the front bumper even though I told them not to.
