I purchased a 2022 Lincoln Aviator Reserve in April 2025. I was unsure about purchasing as I found out the car didn’t have working A/C as we were approaching the summer season, it only had 1 key fob when I was unsure about purchasing as I found out the car didn’t have working A/C as we were approaching the summer season, it only had 1 key fob when advertised as having 2 keys, and the cruise control didn’t work as a result of having a history of front end accidents. I was given a “We Owe” with the A/C fixed, Cruise Control fixed, and a 2nd Key plus programming and they swore up and down that they would pay for it at a dealership/mechanic here in WV as Akron, OH was 3.5 hours from my house. I got reassurance from both the sales and finance department before agreeing to do a deal and take the car. I left the dealership happy and confident they would honor their word. I then proceeded to call consistently over the next few weeks letting them know the dealerships here in WV would not touch the car without North Coast payment information to pay for the work. I was consistently given the run around and told, “let me write them a note and have them check on this and someone will get back to you.” No one ever got back to me. I then proceeded to call periodically to check on the “status” of my request and consistently given more runaround. On July 31, 2025, nearly four months after the initial issue, I was informed that I was “way out of the 14-day time window” and that the necessary repairs needed to be completed onsite in Akron, OH. This response was unacceptable, as I had consistently communicated with them, particularly within the specified timeframe, and received only evasive answers. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was told, “Well, I wasn’t the one who made you that promise.” In response, I have filed a complaint with the Ohio State Attorney General’s consumer protection department, and they are currently investigating the matter. Additionally, I am retaining legal counsel to pursue a lawsuit against North Coast Auto Mall for failing to fulfill their legal obligations. I am seeking compensation for the repair of my vehicle’s A/C and cruise control, as well as the programming of a new key. Throughout this ordeal, my 10-year-old son and I have endured the discomfort of a non-functional A/C system during the summer months, which is intolerable. I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from North Coast Auto Mall. They are willing to make false promises to secure a sale and commission, disregard customer requests for accountability and promise fulfillment, and ultimately shift blame onto the customer for any perceived delay with the refusal of following through. I have an great sales person with Knobi but was frustrated with financing. I came ready to pay 100% but was advised they only did financing sales (??!) Not told before when asked. I put down $10k frustrated with financing. I came ready to pay 100% but was advised they only did financing sales (??!) Not told before when asked. I put down $10k and was pushed to finance the rest. While one or two inquiries may not have a significant impact on a credit score, too many inquiries in a short period of time can. It’s also important to make sure all inquiries are legitimate. After their financing was pushed thru on their terms, my credit rating took a 50 point hit dropping out of 720 score. What they did was for THEIR commission and damaged my credit rating. More
I just purchased my second car from North Coast. As expected, the experience was incredible. I found the vehicle I wanted online on Monday. Submitted my loan request Monday night. I was pre-approved As expected, the experience was incredible. I found the vehicle I wanted online on Monday. Submitted my loan request Monday night. I was pre-approved within minutes. I went to the dealership on Thursday and my sales rep Mike was awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional. I took the car for a test drive and within an hour my paperwork was ready and I was happily on my home in a beautiful 2021 BMW. North Coast was very transparent regarding the pricing and protection options. I purchased an extended warranty from NVP which I cannot stress enough how amazing this warranty is. On my last vehicle from North Coast I had an engine failure three years into owning the vehicle. The NVP warranty fully covered my engine replacement and in just one claim it more than paid for itself. I will not hesitate to make a future purchase from North Coast. They make the purchasing process easy and stress free and the vehicle pricing is unrivaled. I cannot thank the North Coast team enough! More
