I have nothing but great things to say about Frank, who was my service coordinator. He was personable and went out of his way to listen and help get me set up. However, the service itself took LITERALLY AL was my service coordinator. He was personable and went out of his way to listen and help get me set up. However, the service itself took LITERALLY ALL DAY, and if I wouldn't have called, they would have kept my vehicle. Frank explained that the reason it took so long was because of the diagnosis of my passenger door lock (it wasn't working with the fob). He had told me that he would call me midway through the day to tell me what was wrong with my door lock and give me an estimate for the repair. That didn't happen. I finally called at 4 p.m. and he had to hunt down the repairman to determine what was wrong and what the cost would be. Then he quoted me $850 to replace the faulty part!!! Of course, the $250 I paid for diagnosing the problem would be put toward the repair. There was NO WAY I was paying that amount for this repair. Later, I bought the part myself for $99 and contacted a shop down the street to put it in for $200. So, really--North County GMC charged an exorbitant price for this repair. I also found out they are no longer a Buick dealer, and I have a Buick Encore, so I won't be taking my car there in the future. More
If I could give zero stars, I would. This dealership is unethical, incompetent, and fails to follow through on its promises. Let's start with the sale process, where a truck was advertised on the side of the truck and online with a $10K discount. The salesperson, Nathan Hale, then tells me that I have to buy thousands of dollars' worth of useless add-ons to get the discount. I asked him to send me a picture of where it says I have to do this, and the included photo is what he sent me. It clearly states that these add-ons "can be purchased for an additional cost or removed from the vehicle at the time of sale". Knowing that I could cancel these later and get a refund, I went along with it to get the deal done. After getting the deal done, I escalated to the general manager, Tim Toor, who told me he would take care of the refund IN JUNE. It is late December as I write this review. I have since followed up with him OVER 50 TIMES via calls, texts, and emails over the last 6+ MONTHS to get the refund. At one point, he even told me he approved the check and that it was at the dealership. This has proven to be a lie. Let's move on to the fact that the truck's primary screen didn't work from the moment they delivered it to me. They told me that after an overnight update, it would work. It did work the next day, but a few days later, it stopped working again. I took it in for repairs, and they kept it for 3+ MONTHS! I asked them to replace the screen numerous times, but they refused each time. The service manager, Kyle Closter, even told me the screen was good and that he personally tested it. I drove to the dealership to pick it up, only to be told the screen was, in fact, not good. One of the most insane things was that the salesperson asked me not to complete the GM survey unless it was positive, as it would affect his bonus. After the nightmare of an experience, I shared my negative experience in the survey. He dared to call and text me to say he "lost all of his bonuses for this whole quarter." From the salesperson, to the service manager, to the general manager, this is a dealership that should be avoided at all costs. They're unethical, incompetent, and fail to follow through on their promises. I will be sending this exact review to GM corporate so that they can handle things accordingly. More
I can honestly say my experience at North County GMC was the quickest, easiest, and most enjoyable car buying process I’ve ever had—and I’ve bought a lot of cars! From the moment we arrived, Victor, our sal the quickest, easiest, and most enjoyable car buying process I’ve ever had—and I’ve bought a lot of cars! From the moment we arrived, Victor, our sales guy, was so warm and friendly that it felt like we had known him for years. I believe because of Victor speaking to Tim, the general manager, about our situation that this was the reason why things transpired into a great car buying experience. Tim and Victor truly went above and beyond to help get my husband into his dream truck—something we didn’t even think was possible. Victor had great communication with us the whole time. He was our middle man trying to coordinate everything for us and we are forever grateful. Then we met Alex, the sales manager, and he was extremely fair and transparent, which made us feel so comfortable. And to finish the whole process David in finance was so informative, helpful, and patient while explaining everything to us. What really stood out was how there was absolutely no pressure—just genuinely nice people working hard to make things happen for you. Their teamwork and kindness were unmatched, and I mean that! I walked away not just with a great deal but also with a huge smile. If you want an stress-free, friendly, and efficient car buying experience, go to North County GMC—you won’t regret it ! More

We are outraged by the lack of information we received and the disregard of our time. They had us waiting for a car wash when we were the only customers standing outside. we provided a 20 minute ETA and yet we still waited for the car wash. It wasn’t even dried. Nonetheless, I am a disappointed customer. More
North County GMC has had my van for 10 weeks with no resolution. They damaged the vehicle’s wiring and still haven’t repaired the cluster unit. When I came to pick it up after 7 weeks, the battery was d resolution. They damaged the vehicle’s wiring and still haven’t repaired the cluster unit. When I came to pick it up after 7 weeks, the battery was dead, the vehicle wouldn’t start, and wiring for multiple electrical components was hanging out from under the dash and around the vehicle — with no explanation from the service writer. I’ve had to initiate every contact myself, as they’ve provided no updates. I raised all of this with the service writer and general manager over a week ago, but still no response or resolution. This van is a daily driver for our family, and their lack of communication and accountability is beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. More
