I never felt like I was pushed in anyway to purchase a truck I wasn't 100% comfortable with. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to driving my new chevy for many years! More

First car, problems before I even received license plate! This is my first car. I'm a college student. Nothing like a dealer taking advantage any way they can. Check engine light came on, had to get my license plate from them and another item fixed that was agreed to in the purchase, so I asked them to check this when I brought it in. Filled up with gas on my way there, noticed the gas cap had been loose so I tightened it. The check engine light did not come back on when I started it up. When I brought it in I explained that and they said they still wanted to check it out. They came back saying "the seal on your gas cap is bad, you are going to need a new one for $20". The charge was $100 for the diagnostics (!!!) to tell them the gas cap was "bad", plus the $20 for the cap. I complained but they wouldn't do anything about it. I was so flustered I drove away without checking, got 10 miles away and noticed they didn't put my license plate on so I had to drive back. I talked to my original sales person (Adam) and he had the gall to tell me 1. he couldn't do anything and 2. "They can't cover anything [parts] because we don't know how you drive." when I pointed out that my driving wouldn't create a bad gas cap seal not to mention the excessive $100 diagnostics charge his comment was "our mechanics still need to get paid" and "I wish we could make everyone perfectly happy, but we can't." What a crock. I would NEVER purchase from them knowing this is how they treat their new customers. OH, and they tried to use the line "we're just a small dealership so we can't afford to do what some of the big guys can do" .. yeah, they're part of the Sonju, Northstar Ford, ... and I forget, there are two others. they are NOT a small dealer. Liars and cheats. More

Purchased used 2011 Escalade Rob G is a decent young man and I appreciate him dealing with me for the past 3 vehicles I purchased from Northland.
