He tried to charge us$600. For a center console storage latch. $120. to analyze the problem, sales tax, the part($90) for a part that sells for $10-$45., and the rest for labor More

Nucar has never been a scamming car dealership till the service advisor TIM GLEASON started working there. All the other service advisors are #1 at their jobs and honest. Hopefully they are not starting a commission basis like SEARS did decades ago. $400. labor for a 10 minute job to put two screws and a $45. GM center console latch into a car. The part sells for $10 at walmart.com. Nucar would have charged $95. for the latch, 4 hours of labor, tax, and $125. for a analysis to get $600. out of the customer. Maybe a auto mechanic overestimated
